This one is a no- nonsense, centrally located hotel I would recommend any time for anyone to stay at when in Beijing. The building itself is not not the newest, but it's well maintained and looked after. Can't help but notice all the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor, I for one can say that I did not encounter any of the... More

This is a very comfortable hotel. The rooms are small but very clean and have got very nice bathrooms. The underground station Xuanwuman is just by the side of the Hotel. This is located in a nice place with shopping malls and good restaurants around. The restaurant for breakfast is also good with very friendly restaurant staff. few speaks a... More

We stayed for 5 Nights in Xuan Wu Men Hotel, I think the Hotel is quite clean and looks new...maybe some of the reviewer confuse the hotel, because there are 2 Hotels at the same street..one is old Hotel and the other one is new Hotel...we were in this new Hotel and were satisfied with the room... we have Internet... This was my second time to stay at the Yue Xiu Hotel. I booked it the 2nd time because of its convenient location: adjacent to a subway stop, adjacent to a major department store/supermarket, and just a relatively short walk (<30 minutes) to Tien an Mien Square. This time, I booked a double room. The view of the Southern Cathedral... More

DUMP! DUMP! DUMP! I was there just this weekend and I do not recommend this place to anyone! A group of 18 of us went there and after 5 minutes of checking in our rooms, 14 of us were at the front desk to complain along with other travelers who were there to complain about not getting what they paid... The location is excellent. It's right next to a subway stop. It's also close by to restaurants and a Walmart. I agree with other posters that the staff can be quite rude. I was yelled at by housekeeping for asking why the electricity in half of my room wasn't working properly, but they did eventually send someone to help me.... More

I traveled to Beijing with a group for a school course. Beijing was our longest and final stop in China and we were staying at the hotel for 8 days. Almost immediately after checking in, most of the group was ready to leave. I do not understand what makes this hotel 3 star but I do not recommend trusting that... More

We just got back from Beijing and stayed at this hotel. It was the worst vacation we've ever had in our lives. The staff were non English speaking, extremely rude, noncourteous, and unhelpful to say the least. The hotel was very old and the rooms were disgusting and very filthy. We were even left a half eaten fruit tray on... More

I was glad I chose this hotel. The price was great, and a convenient location (right in front of a subway). You can find a place on line where the hotel and address are written in Chinese characters, which you can show to a taxi driver. This got me from the airport to the hotel with no problem, as well...
