It was in a great location but the walk down to the hotel at night was very dark and scary I didn't like it When in the room the lights didn't work, toilet didn't flush and shower head was broken so not a good start We complained but nothing happened so we checked out the next day to stay somewhere...

The hostel looks really interesting, it is within walking distance to a lot of attractions, the place is clean for a hostel. The street can be quite dark at night, but it is mostly old folks in the neighborhood. You can ask for the staff at the front desk if you are interested in local tours, but I didn't join...

Stayed here for four nights. The hotel was a budget hotel but the rooms were clean and spacious with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel is in the hutong and within walking distance to the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park and other tourist attractions. There are small shops near by and some good restaurants (varying from street food through...

It was random choice, but I would say it was good choice. Good location. Walking distance to the Forbidden City, Tiananman Square, and tube stations from where you can easily get around the city. Stuff friendly and helpful. Rooms are good size and clean. There is a restaurant in the hotel where they serve good food. Also travel agency are...

Rooms are pretty basic but what you would normally expect for a hostel. The location was ideal, especially for the Forbidden City, and we were able to find lots of good restaurants nearby to eat at. Compared to other hotels/ hostels that we have stayed at in China the breakfast was very good and offered a great selection!

We booked this place believing it was a hotel, but it is a hostel. Nevertheless the rooms were okay but basic. There was no service (eg room cleaning, towel changing) through out our five nights. There was a fairly good restaurant that did serve a great steak! The main attraction this hostel has is the position, which is very near...

This hotel is now called "Jade Hotel" on most booking sites. It's cheap and basic- not a problem, but it could have been cleaner. The bathroom had mold in shower and around sink. Bedroom- small, not very clean, old furniture. I could have been OK with everything but the location for me wasn't ideal- it's a good 15 minute walk...

This place is a very nice basic hotel and hostel. It has a more of a hotel feel. I stayed in the hotel part and it was just fine. The location is very good. It is very close to the Forbidden City. It is down a side alley, but the area is very safe. I did not feel unsafe at...
