We stayed here for a couple of nights. The location was pretty good. There are lots of eating places nearby. The hotel is not too far from the train station. From the hotel to Beijing Capital Airport it took us about 1 hour using the metro and express train. The facilitates are good but you do have to pay to...

I stayed at this hotel during a delegation trip for education leaders. The hotel was very conveniently located for my needs at the university. Since we had transportation I didn’t have to deal with arranging my own transportation to popular tourist sights. This hotel is convenient to universities and is on ring 4 (of 7) and due to this it...

It's great if you are looking for a place to stay in Wudaokou. Short walk to the tube, a minute away from BLCU and a taxi ride away from Sanlitun and Tiananmen. The rooms are clean but they have very hard beds. There's a restaurant, swimming pool and karaoke on site, or you can walk 5 minutes to Wudaokou and...

But hard hard beds! Amazing group of buildings to make a mini village of facilities near many of the universities. There's a (UK public sized) swimming pool and a full ten pin bowling hall. Food is great with lots of choice (& coffee/toast/cereal for breakfast if you don't fancy Hawthorne juice & winter melon stir fry! - an amazing selection...

This Chinese Government run hotel has a convenient location to many universities (e.g., Tsinghua) and research institutes (e.g., the Chinese Academy of Sciences); however, I found it disappointing for the following reasons: 1. The internet was very erratic and generally very slow. Be aware that the Chinese Government blocks many web sites (including Google!), so if you are using a...

An ideal & quiet location close to good restaurants, with a fair variety on offer. Rooms are small but adequate. Breakfast a typical wide Chinese offering. Great to also stay in a hotel that understands how to install night lights (very dim, unlike a lot of 5 star options that are blinding). spa a bit over priced

I've been staying at this hotel for about a week. In general, it's fine. The location is quite strategic for those who like shopping and dining, as it is near to Wudaokou shopping and dining district. The rate is also still affordable. Internet connection is available but the speed seems to be very slow. The refrigerator in my room was...

I'm currently in Beijing and am looking at hotels in the Wudaokou area for further visits. I have visited several hotels in the area where I have been greeted warmly and shown more than one bedroom in each, showing their range. However, this hotel were rude to me at reception; refused to show me a room and changed their excuses...
