Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Arrived quite late and was given 917, a half circle room in the corner of the building. Great combined living room and bedroom, nice office desk and clean and nice bathroom. Free WiFi is always appreciated and even a few English speaking TV channels. Breakfast was also in the positive side. Quite good value for money.

three of us stayed here for 5 nights in two rooms on the 5th floor. my wife and our friend stayed in a twin room and myself a single. the rooms are large but the cleanliness of the bathrooms could be improved, lots of mould in the shower. the weirdest part was the rooms windows did not look outside. i had a corridoor room and my wife a ballroom outlook. lucky for us there was no functions on the nights we stayed. i had to go down in the lift every morning to see what the weather was like. breakfast was ok and the staff friendly enough but dont expect much english.

A good tourist hotel and worth the price. The rooms were spacious and clean although the curtains around the shower were a bit mouldy. The breakfast was a buffet affair but there wasn't a massive choice. The staff were very attentive and friendly (apart from the cook rustling up the eggs - it seems he's only willing to do fried eggs so it's that or nothing). The lobby is up on the 8th floor with our rooms down on the 6th floor. One bad thing was the hallways are very poorly lit and the hotel is a bit of a maze so you may find yourself wandering around in dimly lit corridors. The location was great. Really close to a lot of tourist attractions and modern shopping malls. I didn't use the internet so can't comment. Overall, I'd go back.

First stayed in2006 and again in 2008. Could not find anything to complain about, massive building which we were told was built by the Russians. Service and staff were splendid, if ever in China again will make it a point to stay here.

• Travel group: 11 adults and 1 children. • Booked with a travel tour • The breakfast is normal ABF noting to fancy about. • The location is very strategic. Just walking distance to shopping malls. • The room and toilet is clean, and the house keeping provide clean towels every day. • The Rooms facing city view are superb with a breathtaking view overlooking city. • The Rooms facing the hall is a bit stuffy casue not much air circulation. • The front desk services is very efficient and good. When we stayed at the second night. Our toilet bowl water overflowed. The Serviceman/Cleaner came and fixed it in a nick of time. Stayed October 2010, traveled with family and relatives

This hotel is really a hidden gem! I did not expect the hotel to be so plush when i first arrived and viewing it from the outside. It is also extremely cheap. The interior of the hotel is very nicely decorated. The only complaint is the price of the internet usage at the Business Centre. I don't remember the exact price but the cost of it per min is a lot more than the internet cafe down the rd and more than it is in Australia. The reception is on the 5th or 6th floor, which is rather strange. There is also no gym.

For a good cheap place to stay then this does the job. Location was off Times Square and all majr sights are within walking distance. Overall though the place lacked any character, but big bedrooms and a good bathroom made it worthwhile

This was a hotel secured by the travel company for the Beijing Olympics on a "bronze" package, i.e the third ranking hotel. To be fair it was all we expected and more! Located a mile WEst of Tianammen Square it is a 10 minute walk away from Xidan Subway station on Line 1. It is one of the city's main shopping districts and major department stores are on hand as well as a mall dedicated to Wedding Dress shops! The main reception to the hotel is on Level 8 of the building and the building is spacious. On Level 4 is a fine Korean Restaurant which is well worth visiting - an all you can eat buffet which is excellent. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the service at the hotel is very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is served in the hotels' main rstaurant on the 8th and again it is a comprehensive buffet with Western and Oriental food available.

Better than expected...good location nearby shopping area and supermarket. Room is big with LCD screen though most channels are in Chinese. Comfortable bed with space to place all belongings. Variety of breakfast choice...chinese and american. There are many resturants on this building. Recommend all to stay...not far from many tourist spots by taxi and underground.
