We stayed here mid October in one of the private double rooms. The rooms were very outdated however we clean and comfortable (we weren't in the room much so it didn't matter to us). The common area/eating area had a really nice feel to it - we also enjoyed the food we ate here. The location of the hostel is... More

Stayed there for a couple of nights while in Beijing then forgot to pack my shoes I'd left under my bed. They not only found them but had them ship to my next destination. Impeccable service - highly recommended

Great hostel. Clean, comfortable, cheap, great staff speaking some English. Good bar area and a brilliant location in a non-intimidating hutong only 10 minutes walk south west of Tianeman Square, Forbidden City, Mao's Mausoleum etc etc. A great place for meeting people from all countries and backgrounds. The trip to the Great Wall they offer does exactly what they advertise........your own... Top location, very close to qianmen, in the middle of the hutongs. it is a very simple stay, but the place is very clean and the staff is very helpful in letting you know how to get around. additional tip: try the restaurant in front of the place, the fairly old and dusty place with wood furniture: had the best... Really helpful staff and in a wonderful location. The street is bustling and there is lots to do. It's lively but not too touristy and is also very close to either the forbidden city or the hutongs. Could be a little closer to a metro station but is about a 15 min walk. Private room was really comfortable and good... More

Above average in terms of location, vibe, price (I paid RMB56/6-bed dorm bed), friendly staff.... Toilet / shower cleaniless are just borderline. I have to walk thru the common area to get access to toilet/shower. My dorm is rather small. Didn't join their tour as I had visited the 'wild' section of Great Wall at Gubeikou (details in LP guidebook)... More

Good place to be made to feel welcome in Beijing. Plenty of people to meet from other areas of the world. Great Wall tours ran daily, so you can book on when you like. Right in the middle of a shopping street so plenty to see, the Square and Forbidden City only a short walk away. Airport transfer as well,... More

My partner and I stayed at a different (and disappointing) hostel in Beijing, however we were lucky to have found Leo Hostel to make our stay much better! We did the Great Wall tour and it was awesome...the wall was quiet, very few people, and the views were great! Having the guide, Steven, briefly introduce us to the Wall was... More
