I've been staying at this hotel regularly since May 2014. Usually for 2 to 4 weeks at a time. The rooms are great and it's a very nice hotel. The lobby bar (my favorite part of the hotel) has just been renovated. Although I usually sit at the bar. The rooms are great, but some have some scuffs and marks...

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. We found China a little cold having just been to Singapore and Vietnam, but what a stunning hotel this is. Having had a few days in Shanghai we were adjusting to the climate but never the less felt cold. Especially as I had been unwell with a chest infection so to...

Nice facade with grand lobby. Location did not bother me much as I have transport during my stay in Beijing. The service standard did not live up to my expectation from a Marco Polo level. Upon arrival early in the morning, we are aware that rooms will not be ready. We planned to deposit our laggauge and head out for...

This was our first stop on a 15 day tour of China. The beds were comfy, the breakfast exceptional. The hotel was a bit outside the interesting part of the city but after a full day of touring the quiet was appreciated.

Location is not good it is far from downtown and near the olympic stadium area. There are not really many good restaurant options within walking distance. The subway is close. Rooms are really nice and the food is good.

Business trip for 5 nights. Hotel is located pretty far from city centre, but close to for example the CNCC. Takes 30-40 minutes with taxi to just north of forbidden city. 10 minutes to CNCC. Lot of restaurants in the nearby area. Arrived at 10 am in the morning. My room wasn't ready, but I got a free upgrade and...

While this hotel may look old, its spacious lobby and clean, well-designed rooms are welcome especially by travel-weary convention attendees. The Olympic Village and CNCC are not far and staying in this hotel is an excellent option. The Chinese and Japanese restaurants in this hotel have excellent offerings at reasonable prices.

“If you are new to Beijing you may hear that the heating is turned on an off at specific times of the year. The same goes with the air conditioning. This is true of apartments and cheaper hotels. This hotel does not have that issue and the rooms are always the right temperature.”
