Stayed here for 2 nights during a stopover in Beijing with my husband,2 year old and 5 month old baby. Hotel is kept clean and modern furnishings and is situated in the Main Street within the hutongs with lots of places to eat locally(and a Starbucks). Is a 3 minute walk to the

Sofu Hotel is a great find in a much more Chinese neighborhood than the usual tourist hotel. It is also extremely clean, right around the corner from two subway lines that take you to a lot of the tourist sites, and is reasonably priced for something in the heart of Beijing (we

Very happy with the Sofu Hotel. Good location - close to plenty of places to eat and easy walk to the Subway. Staff on reception were excellent; always willing to help with any local area questions. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. We had 2 rooms - a twin and King.

Myself and girlfriend stayed at Sofu Hotel during 22-30Nov. Enjoyed the stay very much because of its close proximity to the subway station and variety of eateries. Hotel room size is just nice and clean. However, the bathroom lacks of space for placing our toiletries. Be good

Hi Nuttie. We went in December and I was able to adjust the temperature in the rooms. Recommend you get a room that is not facing the street, as sometimes it can be a bit noisy for rooms looking directly onto the street. It was a really great hotel; the staff were very helpful and the location to the subway is excellent.

Oh, I want to add, the hotel is located in Hutong district, which also means there are many one way streets, your taxi may not want to turn into Huguosi street (jie) - they will probably drop you close to Ping An Li MRT station, at the entrance to Huguosi. You need only to walk about 20 m along Huguosi, you will pass by a Huguosi Hotel, it is not that, continue walking to the next block where you will see Starbucks. It is on the same building a Starbucks ;)

You can take the metro from the airport to Ping'anli station (about 50 minutes-29¥) and walk easily to hotel. We took a taxi to the hotel from the airport and it seemed reasonable for 2 people but I can't remember the cost. Be sure to have the hotel address written in Chinese. Someone at the airport could help you with this if it is your first stop in China. Highly recommend MetroMan app for metros around the world and maps.me for an offline map. Email the hotel for the metro exit to use to put you nearest the street the hotel is on ((I can't remember). I hope this helps! Have fun- we lived Beijing!

Sofu hotel is next to Ping Anli station, nearby the university district. I am not sure about the extra bed but their website might help you.
