Well you're not really going to Hong Kong to sleep much, are you? If you think about How much time you're going to be spending in your room and would prefer to walk around the neighborhood until the wee hours of the morning, this is the absolute perfect location. Right behind L K Ave. and Central, it's neat and clean...

Excellent location in Central near Lon Kwai Fung. Well priced basic but functional rooms. Walls are a bit thin so that it can become noisy but overall a terrific spot. i have been going there for years.

Every time I visit Hong Kong I stay here. I don't mind spending a little extra (vs staying at a hostel) because it's conveniently located next to Lan Kwai Fong, Central MTR, Victoria Harbour, the Peak, and so much more. The rooms are definitely small but they offer free wifi and it's quite modern. I like it. Flatscreen tv, safe,...

Mini hotel was clean and in a great location but it really does hold true to the "mini" name. The rooms were clean - a bit humid even with air conditioning - but there was only about a foot and a half around the 2 edges of the bed that were not attached to the wall. My friend and I...

Perfect room for a base for exploring the city. The room itself compact but adequately provisioned with even a kettle and toiletries. Excellent price for such a fantastic location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful staff, and the room and hotel overall were very clean.

Very good location, quite easy to find. This is not the luxury one, but "mini" is enough. Room with AC is always ++. Rooms are little but clean and you have all basic things you need. Location is perfect If you are looking for something near central station and decent places to go shoping, eat or have a drink.

The Mini Hotel Central is ideal for a solo travel that wants a comfortable place to crash. The location is ideal and the room is cleaned. This is a no fuss hotel room that is only big enough for one person.

I've stayed here afew times and really appreciate the price for its location. Don't expect much in the rooms, showers are too hot and can't really adjust but the location is really convenient to locate restaurants, bars and public transportation.

MiniHotel was what I needed for a one night stay- a clean place to sleep near public transport and restaurants. The building was a bit dated, and the room was definitely "mini", but I knew that when booking. It's a great deal for the cheap price and good for a short stopover in HK!

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.

“If you stay one the first floor the elevator is on the right. There are two but only one goes to your floor. The main entrance is several steps up. If I had a ton of luggage I might not stay there. Great place for short stay. Price was cheap. If you had long layover, you could take shower, stash bags, etc for cheap and be refreshed, tack a nap in AC.”
