Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. The initial room we were given had a strange smell. Fortunately, after bringing it to the attention of the hotel front desk, they promptly provided us with a different room, and we were satisfied with that. Additionally, the room on the 12th floor had water pressure issues. The water during showers fluctuated, with bursts of high and low pressure, and the temperature kept changing. This was the only aspect I wasn't satisfied with; otherwise, everything else was good. The hotel's location is not very convenient for transportation, but they offer a free shuttle service to Tung Chung Station and the airport. If you can't catch the shuttle, there's a bus stop nearby where you can take the "S1" bus to get there.

I found the room in Regala was unexpectedly small! I stayed in a few hotels for staycation in Hong Kong before. A hotel room in Sheung Wan or Tsimshatsui, regions with much higher property price, is much bigger than here. I’m also surprised that there is no room service. I think many guests like me booked a room here was for catching an early flight. When we need to take a shuttle bus at 6am but your restaurant opens at 7am, I think having room service to serve a breakfast is a basic service. The experience here is not value for money so I decided to spend time to write here.

I stayed 4 nights at Regala Skycity Hotel to attend event held at Asia World Expo. The good thing about this hotel is a walkable location to the event venue - it takes about 10 mins+. However, the room was too small and the sink of the bathroom is right next to the bed which is not usual.. More importantly, they don't have iron and iron board in every room. When I requested it, they said all were taken, and I had to wear another cloth for the event as I was not able to iron my shirts..

I had an 11:30 minute layover in Hong Kong before continuing my trip. I booked a nights stay in the Regala. They have shuttle buses every 1/2 half hour. I am not sure what hours they run because the next morning they weren't operating at 5 am. They do have Uber in HK so I booked an Uber back to the airport. The ride is maybe 15 minutes at the longest.

Check-in was a very swift and painless process. I had booked with Expedia ahead of time. It took less than three minutes and I was on the way to my comfy room. I was able to get a long nap (3 1/2 hours on a flat bed) and get a shower after the long flight from Chicago to Hong Kong (15+ hours). The shower by itself can make you feel human again. It was worth the $100 cost.

Check-out in the morning went smooth as well. He checked the folio and let me know the they had Uber there. I was at the airport with hardly any anyone around.

I reserved for this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, because my old parents needed to leave HK by an early flight and I wanted them to feel less stressed before departure. However, this hotel has ruined my plan! We arrived in the hotel lobby at 21:20, it was at first impossible to see where the check-in counter was because the lobby was too crowded with people who jostled one another trying to find the end of the check-in queue! At last, it took me one full hour just to check in! But the ordeal did not end here. I reserved for a room for three adults, but my room was equipped with only one bed and one sofa with just two pillows and one quilt! Upon opening the sofa bed, I saw a lot of rust powders from the bedframe scattered all over the mattress. I immediately called the housekeeping and the operator told me that in case I was not happy about the bed, I could go back to the front desk to request for arrangement, and I refused immediately saying that I would not spend another hour to wait there. And then, he said that he would send somebody to my room to fix the sofa bed problems. We waited and waited but nobody came and I called back the housekeeping and nobody picked up my call again! After half an hour, I went straight to the front desk and told the staff there what had happened and that guy apologized and arranged another room to me and promised to send me a housekeeping guy to open the sofa bed for me. Yet, that new room was exactly the same as the previous one with just two pillows and one quilt, plus a rusty sofa bed with rust powders all around. At that time, I really had no energy to request anymore and we simply waited inside the room for the housekeeping guy to come, who finally showed up before midnight. After midnight, my old parents and I went to sleep after a quick shower. We had no chance at all to eat anything, and none of us could sleep well in those few hours because of our empty stomach. Yet, the ordeal still has not ended! On the following morning, we waited for the first hotel shuttle bus to get to the airport. After all the passengers loaded their baggage to the shuttle bus, something went wrong and the bus could not move! Everybody in the bus became very anxious and a few even requested to get off the bus. At last, a bus scheduled at 6:00 could only start moving at 6:19. My parents and I could barely arrive on time for checking in at the airline counter, the Regala Skycity Hotel has really offered me a terrible memory!

Ideal location only three minutes on the S1 bus from the airport. Bus stops one minute away from Regala sky city. The hotel caters for all your needs, staff and management are all there to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was comfortable and very quiet considering the location next to the airport. Complimentary slippers, dental care products, bottled water etc all add to the quality of your stay. The hotel is minutes away from train and bus stations for travelling into Hong Kong, with services every few minutes. After checking out we were able to use the hotel shuttle service back to the airport. Highly recommend the Regala sky city, we were impressed.

We found that one of the keys had failed when we opened the door, then we went back to the reception and have it fixed up.
We reserved two rooms, one of them was lacking a towel, thus we had to order one from room service. There was a light meal included in the concert package, but there was no choices. Chips and deep-fried chicken drumsticks were served with the meal. It's harmful to one's health. There are, at the very least, with other choices. It was not mentioned when I bought this concert package, therefore if I knew ahead of time, I would choose an another package instead of this one. I spent 5-10 minutes without water while washing my hair on the second morning, which was around 930 in the morning. When my spouse tried to reach the operator, the line was kept busy. The room is somewhat small, and there is poor soundproofing between the sleeping area and the toilet. The sounds of the flushing toilet will wake you up when your partner uses it at midnight. There is dust everywhere in the room, which indicates poor cleaning as well.

Some stains on the bed linen, blanket and glasses. The front desk staff pronounced the room number in the check in counter and I cannot see the professionalism and privacy concern from the staff.

In the morning at around 10:30, the housekeeping staff knock my door and ask to provide clean up service. Actually I stay in the hotel for one night and I don’t understand why the staff doesn’t have the list of the room status. It made me feel disappointed. I have never stayed in a hotel in Hong Kong like this.

We decided to stay here one night as we had an early flight out of Hong Kong. This is a beautiful hotel with an elegant feel. We were assigned a room on the 12th floor and we had a good view. The room was comfortable, clean and well designed. The shower was in a separate room than the toilet and the sink was outside the toilet area. I enjoyed the showerhead which was nice and strong. There’s also a free shuttle bus to the airport as well as to Tung Chung area. Check in and out was easy. Will stay again in the future.

Staff are the most inflexible ever we had plans to quarantine here but change of travel plans made our stay impossible to attend. I promptly emailed the hotel to inform them of this and got a useless canned response with no advice how to handle the situation. As quarantine peroid was shortened by the government I expected they would refund partial nights of my 7 day quarantine . Not only did they not refund any of my nights they claimed it was a no show even after notifying them we won’t be able to arrive in Hong Kong .

ridiculous and the hotlines are impossible to get through . Would recommend everyone avoid this hotel at all costs

Do you have computers customers can use?

However, we have a dedicated Club Lounge located on the G/F which serves a designated space for guests to work.
