Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.

During my business visit in China had the chance for a short "weekend break" in Hong Kong. One of the reasons of choosing this hotel was the short distance to the metro station. (Sheung Wan) Walking distance is less then 5 minutes! The hotel is clean, decent size of rooms (not

This (expensive) hotel is situated in a very busy (and seedy) part of Hong Kong with lots of noise from the construction of a new building nearby. It is by far the worse Holiday Inn we have ever stayed in and would not reccomend it. The rooms are small and the cleaning is very

I stayed only one night here but having been a previous resident of HK for more than 7 years and having tried many different hotels since I left HK, this hit the spot for me. Firstly the location is pretty central assuming you are coming from Airport Express or the Macau

Is there any bus run after midnight from the airport to the hotel?
I'm sorry, I have no idea. We got an octopus card but there were plenty of taxis too

Would one be able to see the CNY fireworks from a harbor view room at this hotel? Thanks!
I don't think so.... It's quite far from the harbour and probably blocked by all the buildings in front! I'd recommend going to the TST promenade for the view !

Agree with BradJill. Take the Airport Express TRAIN and free shuttle bus H2. When you get off the train at Hong Kong station, the buses are just to your left.

Yes. Hong Kong is complicated to travel in. You need directions if you are traveling solo.
