I have not stayed at this hotel, but I visited Cheung Chau two weeks ago and saw this hotel at the end of the beach on the north side of the island. To me it looked rather derelict and most of the sliding doors to the balconies were open. I saw only one person walk past a window. From the...

This is the best hotel on a rustic island, so this hotel is well, rustic at best Not much of a lobby and very dated. The room is of course similar. Upon entering I felt the arctic blast and the room never got warmer . The tv has no English Channels. The bathroom/shower stall has no place to hang towels...

I couldn't find accommodation in Hong Kong so I took a ferry over here for just 11HKD and booked in here. It's a clean hotel with nice big rooms. The island is very cool and there are many little places to eat fresh seafood.

The hotel has great views and is next to the beach. Bedrooms are reasonably large with good lighting and aircon, and, importantly, a balcony. The breakfast room for guests is a bit small with a very basic buffet. The public restaurant on the same floor is much more spacious, with a great sea view. Seminar room can accommodate 20 people...

We were there for the annual Cheung Chau Bun Festival. We were offered a room with a great sea view. Breakfast in the room just tipped the experience. Nevertheless, like what many previous guests had mentioned, the hotel is really in need of a major renovation. Wifi was only available in the lobby and every part of the hotel looked...

A quick preface, there are a lot of negative reviews about this hotel and a lot of comments saying there are plenty of B&Bs available which are cheaper and better. As of the time of our trip, there were B&Bs available for less than HK 300 / night but if you wanted something semi decent and suitable for a family...

This is a tired looking hotel, insde and out, in need of refubishment. They charge around the price of a top end 4 star hotel, but are actually a low end 3 star hotel. But I guess they get away with it because they are the only hotel on the island. There are no facilties, no free wifi and breakfast...

Apart from the location being in a beautiful spot by the seaside, there's little else to recommend this "hotel". The place is run down obviously but that's not the main minus point. The linen was filthy with stains on all the 4 towels we had ( see pictures). The bathroom is blocked so if you had the shower on full,...

We stayed at the Warwick hotel around Chinese New Year to get a break from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong for a day. The hotel is ideally located right by the beach. If you are lucky enough you can get a beach side room with a lovely view and balcony, we got the hillside view as we booked...

I was sceptical about this hotel being a 3 star hotel and I was right upon arrival. Good points: location is great, reception staff are nice enough, room is spacious, initial opinion of the room was better than expected only because we had a room facing the beach, the view was fantastic. The bed was comfy, sadly it went down...
