I found the hotel to be very good. I would give it 4.5/5 stars. The check-in was efficient. Contrary to some of the other comments I did not have any problems with hospitality. Everyone was friendly and spoke enough English.
The room was tastefully decorated....More

buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.

The airport Express and MTR should be the best way to get you to the hotel and back. Express to Central then MTR to Wan Chai station, the hotel is a 5 minute walk. As we were there 4 days we bought an Octopus card, which is a prepaid electronic ticket that you can add money to when needed. They are accepted on the MTR, buses and ferries. Check out the Hong Kong MTR website.
If you are in HK on a Weds eve and there is a meeting, check out the horse racing at Happy Valley, 10 minute walk from the hotel and fantastic evenings fun, just go in the general public enclosure. Hope this helps and have a fab time in HK.
