We booked the Dorsett Wanchai through Virgin Holidays to spend a week celebrating my husband's fiftieth birthday. We found our hotel stay absolutely wonderful. I was sorry to read comments saying that staff were unfriendly as we did not find this at all. We found the staff to be courteous, polite and very helpful. My husband had a lovely birthday... More

I agree with a previous review that the staff were not accommodating they were very unfriendly. Our experience was that we had a late flight and we were made to feel unwelcome while waiting for our transport in the small foyer. The room on the 5th floor overlooking a six lane highway with an overpass to the right with a... More

Booked a room via Zuji and the rooms lived up to their online photos. Clean, functional and comfortable. Loved the handy phone which I could use to hotspot my phone to. A short walk away to Times Sq or we could use the hotel shuttle to Causeway Bay Plaza 2. Convenient and I've no complaints. The hotel staff were also... More

Stayed 11/14/2016 -11/19/2016, our first stay in this hotel. We booked thru their website and availed of their Fantastic 4 Business Promo, which is a very good deal for us. Premier Room was big enough and very chic, bathroom was not so big but big enough for us, medium-sized ladies. Our room had the race track view but only on... More

Didn't enjoy my stay here at all. Check in was incredibly laborious and took over 15 minutes which is a lifetime when you've just stepped off a 12 hour flight. Check Out was equally and unbelievably more complex. I've never seen a desk clerk type so much in to a computer for a room which had been pre paid and... More

Newly renovated hotel, rooms are small but clean and modern. Staff are quite friendly but not too accommodating. They provide a free smart phone with wifi where you can bring along and hotspot your handphone. Foods are superb, the chef itself is very accommodating to the request. The location was a bit far from Times Square, about 15-20 minutes walk... More

Ensconced in the historically romantic Wanchai district, this Dorsett Hotel rings a nostalgic bell with movie-goers of yesteryear who has ever seen or heard of the endearing movie- "the World Of Suzie Wong". However, the heady days of Wanchai of the '60s are now lost in the towering, glittery skyscrapers of progress, and only the ever-present trams of that era... More

Good: hotel is very clean, and modern. Wifi in lobby is good. People are nice. Brian is very nice. Bad: Room has frosted windows that don't open, no view (couldn't see out). Room smelt pretty bad, no fresh air in room. Breakfast is the worst and expensive (185HK). Mobile hotspot/phone does not work, it stops working after 2 minutes, and... More

I had to book a room urgently as the other hotel was not suitable. Booked the room same day as staying. The reception was very good, the room was excellent and staff very good. Nice clean rooms. Like the fact they give you a local mobile phone to use free of charge. Friendly service. Breakfast could be better. Its difficult to get taxis from there, particularly in the mornings.
