Very well located, very friendly staff, nice design and amenities (e.g. books to be borrowed from the lobby). Highly-recommended place to stay in the Wan Chai area.

The Fleming is easily the best hotel i've stayed in when visiting Hong Kong. I've never been in a hotel room that is so well equipped, its got all the usual stuff like tea/coffee, mini bar, room service, toiletery kit etc but as well as that i've got sllippers/robes, DVD Player, a stationary box with rubber bands, paperclips etc, an...

This hotel is pretty convenient , well located in Central. The room is small and weirdly designed. The breakfast is fine. Depending of the price, this hotel is worthy.

This time round, I chose The Fleming because of it's location & attractive room rates. 1. Location - The Wan Chai MTR Station is just a 3 minutes walk away. Was on a business-trip but slightly on a budget. This hotel however offers good value for money. After a few days I started to feel right at home and especially the breakfast room is a cozy place to sit undisturbed without crowds of other tourists. Of course there is always some area for improvement which includes the fact that the...

The lobby is clean and modern. The staff are excellent--incredibly helpful and with excellent English skills. I reserved my room on the Fleming...

My partner and I stayed at The Fleming for three nights in Hong Kong as a part of our Thailand trip. We actually found it through I-Escape.com. I think we may have saved some money on the reservation and I-Escape threw in a free bottle of wine and some discounts on services offered by the hotel. Breakfast was also included...

Every time I visit Hong Kong I normally stay at the Mandarin Oriental which I reckon is the best hotel in the world. But this time I decided to stay at the Fleming in Wan Chai. What a pleasant surprise! The room was an excellent size with a small kitchenette complete with cooking utensils and crockery. My partner and I...

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
