Located right next to (or rather 'within') the Confucius Temple (Fu Zi Miao) walking zone. Also right next to some big shopping malls which have great eateries on top levels (e.g. Grandma's, Nanjing Da Pai Dang). Great, clean interior, good service.

Really nice hotel in a great location. Hotel is huge by SEA standard, but not the international 5 star standard you would expect. Room is large and clean with street view. Bathroom is clean and everything works as it should be. No problem with water pressure and hot water. Bed is firm and gave me a good sleep. Location is... More

We have stayed more than five times in this 5 star hotel whenever we visited Nanjing by Bullet Train from Shanghai. We chose this hotel because it was surrounded by the Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple) 5 star tourist area. Next to it is surrounded by the Pedestrian Street where one can walk, eat and shop the whole day as well as... More

..next to the canal and Confucius Temple. Known for its dumplings the old part of the city a delight to experience. River boat rides at night and street entertainment. The canal was built by the same Emperor responsible for making the terracotta warriors. Enormous rooms with beautiful views over the canal and up to the hills. Hard beds but very... More

It was during deep winter I checked in though my sponsor. The hotel was huge. breakfast was sumptious but routine every day with only Chinese food. Rooms spacious and clean. The staff was very polite while only reception girls spoke english. Convenient location close to main streets, shopping, restaurants.

Kind of odd feeling, with a nice location. Mostly Chinese guests. Why odd feeling? probably because the 5-star rating does not compare well with other 5-star hotels in China. Lack of style probably. The room I was in (B734) was huge, but without functionality...

Grim! Smokers on all floors even the non smoking floor, only difference is lady spraying air freshener throughout the day on non smoking floor and picking up fag ends from ashtrays by the Lift. I have stayed here over many years - a great location - close to sights and shopping - there is a very smart newer shopping centre opposite. Near Fuzi Mao temple. Close to metro station. Good rooms and very clean. Staff are very friendly and breakfast and wifi etc are all very good. There is now a new Starbucks located... More

Staying here for the first time, the front office staff are friendly and fast, also understand English. It is located right at the heart of Nanjing city. Breakfast are great however my room was old and need to be refurbished. I heard some rooms are renovated, so next time I will chose a better room. Hopefully.

Overall a good hotel. It is in a great location close walking distance to historic sites. Rooms on some floors have been renovated, our sons room was newer and quite pleasant. However our 5th floor room was older, had some mold issues on the shower curtain, shower mat and toilet base. Beds are comfy and we were well rested overnight.... More
