This place has so much black mold that you will be sick in less then three days. DO not stay here ! It is a health issue. Food is poor quality as well. I noticed a ton of tourist at this hotel. Beware tour companies. Some may think it is the higher altitude but don't be fooled.

This hotel has no elevator, 5th floor corridor is dark and has very dirty carpet. Rooms facing main street are bigger, but noisy. The only positive thing about this hotel is terrace for breakfast- stunning view. They have friendly staff. Make sure you arrive at breakfast early to get enough food. Overall ok for one-two nights stay, not impressive.

This hotel has good sized rooms that are situated around a courtyard. Rooms at the back were quiet and a decent size. The staff are very helpful. The breakfast is served on the roof and is excellent. The hotel is in a good location close to the markets. The downside is the air conditioning it doesnt work, we had three...

Single room, with private bathroom. A/C, wifi, tv and excellent facilities. Room was very clean in general and the standard was very good. Breakfast is served in the upper terrace, with a beautiful view of the Potala palace (sideways in the distance) and the city. Buffet style breakfast included in the room price with many things to choose from. Location...

Stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour. The hotel has potential. The room has nice fixtures, ample toiletries and hot water, but there was a lot of mold on the shower curtain and in the bathroom. There was free wifi in the room. We were in the VIP building which faced a courtyard and was quiet, except for...

Our wonderful tour operator Explore Tibet booked this hotel for us in Lhasa. There are many foreigners in this hotel. The room is nice for Tibetan/Chinese standard. The heater and air conditioner is great given the altitude sickness can make you hot and cold one minute to the next. The hotel does not have an elevator so ask to stay...

I have stayed at the Yak Hotel many times over the past 10+ years. My recent stay here was great, just as my previous stays have been. The hotel is located just a short 2 or 3 minute walk from Jokhang Temple in the Tibetan Quarter and is very close to all of the best restaurants in town. The rooms...

This hotel is a very good option for staying in Lhasa. Its location could not be bettered, Once you get past reception, who are surprisingly charmless and not very efficient, the rooms are functional and well sized. Mine was not cleaned for two days until I reminded reception that I was a guest. I stayed in the main building overlooking...

We stayed here after checking out of Dekang Hotel, staying for 1 week. A beautiful Hotel, with a very good location, close to the old centre, Potala Palace and an abundance of restaurants. It is nicely located next to the Dunya Restaurant, which serves great food and drinks upstairs in the bar. Recommend to ask for a room in the...
