We stayed here as a treat for my birthday - slightly more expensive than the budget accommodation we had been frequenting but so so worth it. The staff were particularly friendly, warm and welcoming and the room was well-kept and comfortable. For context, the most exciting aspect for us was a shower cubicle and soap! But even so, this is...

We went for a business meeting & wanted to stay the night. MOC appears like an upper class cafe. It is a discreet tasteful cafe, comfortable lounges, sturdy tables & nice staff. It is slap bang right in the thick of things in Prawirotaman district. They have an extensive mixed race menu & a lengthy coffee menu (but no Australian style...

It is a small hotel with nice quiet rooms (we had a room away from the street) in a living backpackers area where you find small restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean and it feels safe. Very friendly staff and well priced. We would defnitely would stay here again.

it is located near the middle of the backpackers st. It is a 2 storey building and is yellow in colour. they serve both local and foreign coffee of average quality. Nothing so special about their coffee. cakes and pasteries are also sold. Service is average but the ambience is nice and cosy.

The rooms of Ministry of Coffee are very well priced. They are simple, clean and have a safe and private bathroom with hot water. When we left the hotel before breakfast was served, we could get a take a way breakfast. The staff was very kind and helpful. I had a nice stay here!

A great find. I originally planned to stay for 5 nights but ended up extending by another 2 nights. Wanted to stay longer but they were full. M.O.C is a coffee shop on Jl. Prawirotaman, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars, travel agents, laundry etc, so the location is perfect. If you plan on sleeping before 11pm, the live music at...

We stayed here for two nights on our way across Java. There are a bunch of nice looking guesthouses on Prawirotaman, but MoC is up there with the best. The best thing about the place is the breakfast, which as comped is unbelievable. When we had to get an early flight they even did us this cool takeaway box. So...

Through this place was a coffee shop, definitely a hotel. Stopped by for breakfast, it was the best I had in Yogya. Pros: - wonderful service - broad menu (spinach quiche and cheese croissants are delicious) - terrific coffee (especially lattes) - great ambiance, little oasis in there Cons: - a little pricey

“I was recommended by a friend about the place before who mentioned the best rooms are on the ground floor. I stayed on the 2nd floor and there might be rooms up to the 3rd floor though there isn't an elevator to get there. Be prepare to walk your luggage up the stairs even though the hotel people are quiet happy to help you with the luggage.”
