The room was nice, but the bathroom gives bad smell from the drain (like cockroaches smell). Then for the whole 3 nights we stayed we have to deal with guests next door making horrible noises after midnight. First night was a school group, second night was pilgrimage group and the last night was some drunk foreigners :( To top it off, the only time we can swim - the swimming pool was closed for maintenance. What a stay!

Staying in this Hotel is one of the best experience I had. Name of this hotel become EMERSIA HOTEL MALIOBORO. Location of this hotel is strategic, walking distance to Malioboro Street, Tugu Train Station & Tugu Yogya Monument. Good option to explore Malioboro area ,to avoid traffic jam and spend more time if you want to go to Malioboro street. Room is huge (booking deluxe room) , clean , & room facilities also good.Food during breakfast delicious & have many option. Good service from this hotel crew (reception, waitress & technician) , they are very attentive. I have a problem with hot water, and they are following up immediately. Minor thing from my side : because Im smoker , they dont provide smoking room for deluxe room type.This hotel only provide smoking room for superior room type. I stayed in Emersia hotel for only 2 nightst and realised that it is so bad. We didnt get a buffet and they disnt serve us proper breakfast. I am not saying that the breakfast was bad, but it was the indonesian cuisine so it is not preferable for the international tourists like me. Although the room was neat and clean. It just took me a while sitting on the bed as the the bedsheets had turned yellow from some places. We had to shift both of our rooms as the ones they gave us didnt even have double beds and were so dirty. They took 200,000 to change our rooms! I would not recommend someone to stay in this trap.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Yogjakarta with friend ! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff even we're late for check-in . The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had three great mornings breakfast here, which obviously also added up to the experience. This hotel located nearly to famous Malioboro road you can take a walk less than 20minute from hotel, food stalls is everywhere, Laundry services available at hotel or you can walk less 100m to laundry shop, Do not hesitate to ask the staff for help :) Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. Stayed here last week. We are 2 families, had 2 double rooms one with an extra bed. When we checked out both of the rooms had no toiletries provided, so we had to ask the reception for it including small towels which were also missing. We knew that the room has no fridge, but my wife expected to use a hairdryer, but the whole hotel had none available. Some sheets were stained, the walls were thin, we could hear a lot of noise from outside and from our upstairs neighbours early in the morning. Breakfast was just ok, the juices are quite watery though. We did not use the swimming pool after seeing some domestic tourists' children swimming in it in normal street clothes. The hotel's location is great, there is a nice bakpia sweet shop next door. However I am not sure if we would stay here again in the future with a small child.…

Very friendly staff, Bayu and his team are very helpful. Hotel and the rooms are very clean. Room with A/C and comfortable beds. I liked the breakfast very much. They had buffet with soup, eggs, noodles, rice, fruits and much more. Perfect for sightseeing. Can recommend Emersia 100%.

“+” Budget hotel with pool which we booked under name Sakanti Malioboro Hotel. We stay here for 2 nights in Deluxe Room suitable for 3 adults. Hotel rooms are adequate for more persons and beds. Hotel also offers breakfast with local food. Near hotel you can find restaurants with local food, Malioboro street, Yogya – Tugu train station, … Staff are friendly and helpful. Thay will help you organize trips to temples and other known spots around Yogya for affordable price. Thanks. “-“ Our booked room for 3 adults!!! (booked via Agoda) was equipped only with two beds. On reception we got info that ALL ROOMS IN HOTEL are equipped only with two beds and it is impossible to get third bed. We got also explanation that we have booked room with two beds and breakfast for 3 Pax??? (Check beds in room before booking in this hotel). We had luck that two beds where big enough for 3 adults for two nights. Room could be cleaner (staff please move beds!!! Under bad you can find hairs, lipsticks, …). There is no deposit box in room. We stayed at Sakanti for 3 nights. We were amazed by the great service. Every employee was very friendly. They picked us up from the airport for 125k. A very fair price I think. The driver was waiting for us at the airport we could hop in the car and leave for the hotel. The next day we planned the sunrise tour to the Borobodur. We were to early for breakfast. So they made two breakfastpackages to go! That was great. The swimming pool is fine and the rooms are clean. We also switched rooms because of our upstairs neighbours. They were making a lot of noise. That is our only downside. Their were some people that were making a lot of noises. We aren't very good sleepers so we wake up very easily. Thanks for our stay.
