I liked Dusun for many reasons. It is not a modern place, rather traditional. First of all the staff are amazing and the surroundings of the hotel make you feel relaxed. Nice swimming pool, very good breakfast, even meditation room available.

We had a wonderful and relaxing week at Jogja village. It’s traditional Javanese atmosphere with well-appointed rooms and ‘Joglo’ styled restaurant is just beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful and always smiling. I must mention Dewey and Yuyus from the restaurant who are an asset to this place and were mostly there for breakfast service during our stay. Breakfast...

We really enjoyed our stay at Dusun Jogja and wish that we had stayed for a longer time. The small hotel was friendly, lovely and our room was great with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The pool is essential in Yogyakarta's climate. The restaurant was very pleasant with a wonderful breakfast buffet. An added plus is that a supermarket...

This ranks as my all-time personal favourite. A beautiful small hotel, exquisite decoration, charming rooms and wonderful staff. The food is delicious and the smoothies by the pool are divine. Our children (aged 12 and 14) loved it too. A wonderful stay in a fascinating city (July 2014).

Few hotels engender such sense of belonging as this one. It is an oasis tucked inside the busy streets of one of the most interesting cities in SE Asia. No detail is ignored in the decor. Rustic and modern, the arts are emphasised in design and in events hosted on site. The staff are genuine and delightful. The free breakfast,...

We stayed 3 nights in October. The rooms are nice and the garden and pool area very nice. Staying outside you can enjoy the chanting from probably 5-6 mosques several times a day. You can hear them in the room too, but they provide earplugs. Service is good. We had dinner once and breakfast several times. Nothing to write home...

If you are looking for a romantic, quiet, cozy, served by friendly staff, green surroundings and yet in the mid of the city, then this an excellent place to stay. I stay here for 2 nights. Very homy, no people talk loudly, no children running around screaming, you can still listen to the sound of nature. Love this place!!
