Staying 3 nights entitled me a free taxi ride to the hotel from the airport. Arinda is very helpful and speaks good English. She cooked free delicious breakfast (7.30am-10am) every morning and brought it up to our room. We loved our room in the corner and on hot nights, air conditioning is marvelous. Arinda booked us rides to Borobudur and... More

This hostel looks more like previously as a big house and converted become hostel. The hall is so huge and spacious, and I think it's good because making extra air to flow. The bathroom and toilets are so minimalist, small and few dress hanger inside. Last but not least, there's a spicy delicious local food nearby, OSRENG MERCON. I challenge... More

Good size, clean rooms, quiet. Very good location, 5 min walk to Malioboro street, 5 min to bus stop that goes to Prambanan temple. Lovely and tasty breakfast. Free internet, printing services. Hotel staff booked for us taxi to airport, that was cheaper than the usual rate. Just around the corner you can get the best chicken in Yogya in... More

This is actually a hotel converted from a big old house. It was located near the end of the Malioboro street. The rooms we booked came with ensuite and airconditioned. The hot shower was hard to adjust to the desirable temperature though. The extra mattress provided was much inferior in quality compared to the main mattress but still bearable for... More

This place is located in the heart of Jogja city. I've stayed in this hostel for one week. The rooms are clean and the staffs are so friendly. I got a complimentary one way pick up from airport because i choose to stay more than 3 night stay. You can make your own breakfast and it's free of charge.

This is co-located with the Yogyakarta Backpackers - so when you're looking at reviews you should combine. The publish room rates - and openly allow you to use their wifi to book online to get a cheaper price - we took a room with a private bath (noted on their price list as a junior suite) with Hostelbookers for 40,000... Good location, close to center and not in the touristy malioboro street. Outdated room, the bathroom was in a really bad condition. AC was good as well as breakfast (Indonesian gudeg or toasts and eggs), all you can eat style. Good value for money. if you want to stay couple of nights on budget, go for it.

Casa de raffles is good situated in the city centre. The main road malioboro (where you can get cheap food) is 15 mins to walk. Water castle and kraton are in walking distance too. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast (selfmade eggs+toast+very very sweet jam) was okay. Free water refill. Laundry was free because we stayed 3nights. Our... More
