Only found this gem of a hotel a couple of days before we left Jogja.. how I wish we'd found it earlier. Its a little old fashioned but that's all part of its charm plus it means spacious rooms & beautiful established gardens with a waterfall cascading into the lovely pool. Immaculately clean & well maintained. Feels like home somehow....

What a treasure. Duta Gardens was just beautiful, the rooms, pool, gardens, food and staff were spot on. Nestled in a quite lane with great access to the main road this hotel was very affordable, ultra clean, super comfortable beds and friendly professional staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a delightful place to stay in. After staying on a houseboat with rudimentary accomodation, was a delight to stay here. The rooms are very clean, and the gardens are spectacular. As I am writing this am sitting on the balcony with a lovely waterfall running in to the rock pool - that you can swim in. Perfect place...

The hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance of several restaurants. the staff were very friendly and the rooms were ideal with a big comfy bed and a balcony overlooking the pool and beautiful gardens to chill out on. So relaxing & has a good view, the garden is so green & the pool is blue. But I once found a rat around the room (outside) & there are mosquitoes too. So if you have an allergy to mosquitoes, be prepare buying any lotion to prevent.

Lovely hotel tucked away within busy streets, about 30-40 minutes from the airport. The rooms are spacious and wind around a nicely landscaped pool. Ground floor rooms have private patios and patio door entrances. Bathroom also spacious and unique as it opens to the outdoors but surrounded with privacy walls. Air conditioning, a must with the humidity and heat, works...

This hotel is a little gem with the rooms set around the pool and well appointed gardens. Is in a quiet area apart from the muezzin balling over the tannoy at 04.30 but this happens all over Java. Why they need such a loud tannoy is beyond me. The first day was ok as we were up early and the...

We check in late at night but we were impressed by the view of the place. Oasis in a city. The gardens are full of tropical fruit trees, orchids, butterflies and birds and a lovely pool. Outside our balcony, we have our own personally pond. Surprisingly, not much mosquito. The room was spacious and deco with their traditional Javanese style....

Breakfast was good, the even had freshly made pancakes. Dinner was okish, the local dishes better than the wester ones. The staff was very nice and even...

This lovely place deserves more business. The villas are spacious, beautifully furnished with local teak furniture, tiles and ceramics, and extremely clean and well maintained. The gardens are immaculate, full of tropical fruit trees, orchids, butterflies and birds and contain a lovely pool. It was wonderful to retire to the quiet oasis after the hustle and bustle of Jogja.

“The regular rooms, as opposed to the deluxe rooms are in a different place and they are nice. The deluxe rooms are dark and larger, and rather luxurious, with better bathrooms and fridges. Both have pools. We were very happy with the regular, and it was a bit cheaper. There's a lot to choose from and we saw a lot of rooms before deciding on ours.”
