We had a relaxing stay in Amami’s villa on the beach. We had some minor repair issues in the beginning but Mhel and her Amami team were quick to fix and repair any issues. The house fit a large family likes ours and we had all the amenities you needed to live comfortably. We loved just sitting in the living room or balcony to watch the beautiful waves.
It’s a secluded area and your neighbors are the local fisherman and Talipanan community. The best part was the Amami staff and their food was delicious. Pizzas and seafood platter were delicious. The staff was always smiling and were very helpful. Thank you to Mhel and the Amami team:)

You couldn't do better than treating yourself to a few days (careful, you might want to stay longer) at Amami. Quietly situated away from the main tourist beach known as White Beach, Amami offers a quiet and relaxing alternative. Nestled in the palms and about 10 meters from the beach, Amami offers simple but comfortable accommodation in thatch covered bamboo and flax cottages. The restaurant is a satisfying mix kof Mediterranean and local cuisine, benefiting from the owner's 38 years living in Italy. English, Italian, French and Tagalog is spoken here so Euro visitors will feel quite at home. It's our second visit. I proposed to my partner so it was a very special stay. Salamat!

Lovely beachfront villa with access to private beach ! The house is fully equipped with kitchen ( gas stove , microwave. Fridge ) washing machine , wifi. Massive common living room with a lovely seaside view !!!
The staff are approachable and helpful. I had a lovely romantic birthday dinner set up on the terrace . Lovely food ! We have been stranded due to Typhoon Paeng and the owner went extra mile to ensure our stay is comfortable despite the electric blackouts . They have generator as well. We had the executive room on the 3rd floor and room is spacious .

Beautiful scenic place!

But mind the following if you will be visiting Puerto Galera.

1. Secure your vaccination card if fully vaxxed.
2. If not, you are required to get RT-PCR or antigen.
3. Spass approved registration at spass.ph

Otherwise you won’t be let in the pier in Batangas.

Environmental Fee as soon as we arrived in Puerto Galera is now Php120.

Got to the hotel in about 10-15mins from Balatero Port and it cost Php170.

Arrived in this little haven and had lunch which was part of the package I booked.

Appetizer was Carpaccio - delish!

Mains were Home made Prosciutto Ravioli and Linguine Amami which was massive!

However if you want pleasant clean good sized rooms, Friendly staff and good food this is the place.
I spent 5 weeks at the resort convalescing. I found it to be a brilliant place to just chill out and relax.
The resort as described is split into three sections,
1, Beach, where the reception, restaurant, bar, and typically rustic local style accommodation is situated on the beach front.
2, Garden, set about 100m back from the beach with solidly built accommodation on 2 levels. This pleasant setting is where the SPA bath is situated.
3. Villa, Set about 500m from the reception area with direct access to the beach.
I was accommodated in the garden section. My room was airy clean and comfortable with air conditioning, fan and hot shower.
The menu in the restaurant was varied with daily specials supplementing the standard. The food was good quality, well prepared and presented.

Be aware however that the resort changed its name recently so all the locals, including tricycle drivers still know it as Amami!

The restaurant advertises much food but of course not available . Vanilla ice cream for example of course not .just advertised . Service is despicably slow and serviced one customer at a ti me even if a couple . No customers but still over a hour for simple request . No apology no warning of long wait and no explanation when asked . I asked three times ..No response . Never again

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights, and it simply wasnt enough. I meant it to be a quick stopover in between more destinations, but after i left, it felt like i wouldve been happy if i stayed my entire vacation here. Perfect relaxing island vibe and hospitality. Unbeatable distance to a prime beach in Puerto Galera. Amazing restaurant and bar. Cannot say enough kind things about all involved with this resort. Spent long nights talking about life with the owner, who made me feel like one of her family, and who i will never forget, affectionately my "Tita" for life. I promise to be back someday soon for more Mojitos and meals!!!!

Review by Leo 7 years old
The restaurant serves good food, especially pizzas, pastas and new years specials.
The games like the jenga was fun to play and the chairs that hung from the ceiling were fun to play in
There were two dogs that were hungry when they saw we were eating and they started sniffing us
We were first in the nice villa but due to a double booking we had to move to a smaller place that wasnt as nice but they compensated by a beautiful lunch if seafood, chicken and rice.
This is a nice place but might be a bit boring without friends, luckily I made two friends.

The place is really nice, and very affordable. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food is good too and we love wine. Easy access to the beach! Although it's the farthest part of Puerto Galera, it's really quiet which we love the most. Would definitely recommend!

When in PG, this is my go to place. Very nice with friendly staff. Food is excellent. You are right beside the beach with white sand. Ask to speak with Mhel, she is the best and can help you with anything. She speaks excellent English.
