Matteo and his family were incredible hosts. The resort is 5 minutes walking distance from El Nido, which allows you to be close to the town without having to deal with the noise and the chaos. All the rooms are clen and well kept. The staff is amazing, very helpful and available for all possible needs. You can organize tours and transfers directly with the resort at 0 extra charge. I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone and I would surely choose it once more were I to go back to El Nido. Thank you matteo for this wonderful experience! Ps. The Sunsets.....no words to describe them!

Matteo and his very helpful team run a small but very nice cozy hotel. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is very tasteful. Nice private garden at the beachfront. Good airconditioning, nice little bar !

Our stay at Angel Nido resort was mixed. The views for breakfast were amazing, and the hospitality from the staff was impeccable - when they are available (after 10pm they were not around). The breakfast was tasty but the options were extremely limited to a few dishes (pancakes, bacon, hot dog, longanisa), meaning that we ended up eating the same breakfast 3 days in a row. You also have to choose between juice or coffee but not both. They didn't have any black tea when we requested. The hotel is an awkward journey from El Nido town proper - either a 15 minute walk down dark bumpy paths, or a 200peso tricycle journey as it's a difficult ride (indeed, one day the tricycle got stuck and we had to get out and push it). The beach is not accessible during high tide, which was during most of our stay.

Wow, I don’t know where to even begin ..... This is a small, friendly and perfect little hotel in El Nido. I have seen a lot of people comment on the location being far from the town but I absolutely loved it ! There were some days when I walked to the town and it was a very pleasant and scenic walk. I really enjoyed it. The view at the hotel from the outdoor seating area looks out to the most gorgeous views ! It does not even look real. It was like a postcard perfect picture right infront and I cannot explain how much I miss the beautiful view! It was sooo refreshing and wonderful to take in this view whilst eating breakfast each morning. The breakfast menu is small but satisfactory and the pancakes with fruit was my favourite! Also the fresh mango juice - great way to start the day! I ate dinner at the hotel and it was delicious every time! It was made fresh and seasoned beautifully. This hotel is the perfect place to relax after a long day on the day tours ! It is peaceful, the staff are all so so nice and friendly, and the location and views are all amazing. The only one thing lacking was the amenities in my room - there was no safe or mini bar, and no bathroom amenities etc. Apart from this, everything else was amazing and in all honestly I would still more than happily stay here again.

Emailed resort for last minute airport transfer for 5 pax. Quick replies and van turned up on time. Had to transfer to 2 tricycles closer to resort though that added to the charm. Resort is smallish, intimate and friendly staff. Clean and maintained. No TV. resort has backup generator to tackle occasional power cut. Enjoyed the breakfast with sea view and also sunset. Owner helped us to buy ferry ticket to coron and the staff sent us to ferry terminal after breakfast. Easy to communciate, and responsive.

Great place to stay with sea view from the breakfast place. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Cozy rooms with place to sit and chill outside the rooms. Cons- Locations is a bit far from the town and you need to walk for 1.5 km everytime through dark, narrow street to reach hotel from town. Also, breakfast spread is limited and we were bored of eating the same food for 3 days of our stay. But overall, would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet stay in El Nido.

PROS: Nice location, away from the town and close to the water. Room was clean and insect-free. Shower area very large, with a curtain and lip to keep the water inside. The room and bathroom had many shelves to put things on (which we didn't have in other hotels). We were in the Sea View Cottage closest to the water, so it was nice to have our own porch to sit on and enjoy the great view. Staff was very friendly, helpful and personable. Nice family atmosphere. The breakfast was good (and real espresso for extra charge) and the other meals they cooked for us were of good quality. The last night we ordered a grilled fish and they served it with platters of squid/potatoes and delicious big shrimp. They have their own tricycle, which is ready to take you whenever you need it. CONS: They have a dog which every morning between 5:00 and 6:00 meets with other dogs on the beach in front of our cottage and they barked/howled for 15 minutes straight. After that, hopefully you can fall asleep again. At 7:00 other guests were eating their breakfast and talking loud right outside our window. But that was it - no other real negative points. Overall a very nice place to stay.

We stayed here for two nights in April and loved the relaxed and friendly feel of el Nido and the Angel Nido. When we arrived we were hoping to be collected from the other side of ElNido but the hotel only offers a free shuttle on arrival and departure from a nearby hotel called the Lally and Abet hotel which is on a corner of town next to the small path down to the Angel Nido. If you ring them on arrival they will collect you from here luckily a nearby tour agent rang them for us and they were there quickly. It is walkable to the hotel but get the shuttle the first time so that you know the way. We hired a motorbike whilst we were there so didn’t have to rely on the hotels shuttle service which you pay for- this is put on a tab and paid for at the end of your stay and you can pay on card. The hotel is lovely and quiet and right next to the sea. You can paddle and almost swim but it is quite shallow - the view is beautiful and the hammocks and breakfast area look straight out to sea which was fantastic. Breakfast isn’t huge but it is tasty we just added some extra toast onto it to bulk it out. The room was small but clean and comfy with great air con. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. One day we hired a kayak from the hotel and paddled over to one on the islands this was great fun and gives you the chance to get to a quiet beach. In the evenings we walked to the main el Nido beach strip which takes about ten fifteen mins we ate at an amazing fish restaurant the Angel Wish the seating is basic but seafood to die for and very reasonable price. We use the art cafe to book our tour and this was a very organised and professional company to use also the boat only had about 8 people on which was great. We loved this little hotel and is accessibility to the main beach strip if you don’t mind a walk or can get a moped was easy- we preferred being away from the noise of town. The hotel organised free transport to the ferry port for us on the way back which was helpful. Our top tip is travel light the tricycles in the Philippines that take you everywhere are not huge and we only just got our three large suitcases in. Thanks for a great stay!

Angel Nido was perfect! An amazing beach front view with a stunning sunset, beautiful garden, shuttle service from and to town, great pasta on the menu, clean bedroom with air con, a cute dog for us to play with (Elsa) and the best of everything, incredibly helpful and caring staff. Lauren and the crew made us feel home and were amazing from start to end. Couldn’t have asked for more. 10 out of 10!

Angel Nido is a beautiful resort run by Matteo and his family. The place is very clean, cosy and welcoming. Situated just 10 minutes walking from the town, its location is very convenient, but still far enough to preserve its quietness. Matteo, his family and staff are very kind and welcoming and their suggestions were always perfect. I highly recommend this resort for single and couples.
