The food was really good! The morning pineapple juices were Incredible. The staff was really helpful, kind and happy! Best sunset i ever saw. Other tourists come here to watch the sunset. All was great !!!
We loved the traditional and tropical feel of Last Frontier, from our welcome drink to our departure the staff could not do enough. We stayed in bungalow and found the room to be perfect, very well furnished and a comfortable bed. Highlight of every day was cocktails by the pool to watch the fantastic sunsets, which were two for one happy hour. Great breakfast included and we had an excellent meal in the restaurant on the one occasion we ate at the hotel. We would return in a heart beat, a highlight of our Philippines adventure.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights on our travels around The Philippine’s and he said it was our favourite place. The hotel is in a great location right on the beach with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance along the beach. It is nestled away from the road so it has a really quiet location whilst still being connected to make day trips easy. Although we didn’t do a boat trip whilst staying at the hotel it offered loads, and it was clear that many trips left from the beach right in front of the hotel. The room was lovely, clean, had great facilities and a perfect size. A nice added touch was the complementary drink on arrival! The restaurant and pool had a great view of the sunset... an lovely bonus! The only down side for myself was the breakfast menu, if you love eggs your in luck but unfortunately I don’t, so there wasn’t a huge range to choose from but as our stay was only a few nights this wasn’t a huge issue. The evening meal we had was lovely.…
Very nice, quiet and intimate resort. Several nice and clean bungalows among the beautiful greenery. Fully equipped bathroom, terrace with sun lounger and air conditioning in the room. Staff very friendly and helpful. The resort has a swimming pool and restaurants serving delicious food. El Nido is a 15-minute walk away. Alternatively, catch a tricycle. At the reception you can buy trips to island hooping or other attractions. It is possible to rent a scooter or arrange transport. Everyone is very helpful.
I’m currently staying at the Last Frontier Beach Resort, the hotel is ideally situated on Corong Corong beach in a lovely quiet area right on the beach. If you want to head into El Nido town itself it’s only 100PHP for a tricycle up on the main road which takes about 5 minutes. The staff have been excellent, our cottage has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The breakfast choice is really good and varied and the cocktails are fantastic, great value at the happy hour from. 16.30 - 18.30 every day. I toyed for a while to decide which beach hotel to go for here whilst here in El Nido but I’m really glad I chose the Last Frontier
