I stayed here in Dec 2011 on my way back from OZ. The hostel staff were very friendly and there was a nicely set out communal area to get to know people. The hostel is environmentally friendly and also provided free drinking water and tea and coffee. It has a small kitchen for you to cook your own meals. I...

I stayed with my friend for only two nights but I experienced extremely friendly and helpful staff. Even though it`s located in a busy centre there is a tranquil atmosphere. The eco policy is fantastic so thumbs up!!!

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
