I stayed here for two nights. Early Check-in at 10:30am was quick and easy,(+20 S$) the hotel was easy to find. Located in a good location in Chinatown (incl. Restaurants, MRT station, shops ...) Shuttle from the airport was S$9 and MRT back was S$2,50. The room is small but I found the lay out and decoration unique!. (incl. Safe, tv-sat,...

I stayed in Porcelain Hotel for 4 days when I had come for a business trip. My experience was quite good. It is a boutique hotel and I quite liked the theme of the hotel as well as the ambience and service provided. The rooms were small but clean. There was a tiny wardrobe which was not accessible easily hence,...

The title of my review tells it all. The hotel is very beautiful from the hotel exterior and interior but the room is really small. All the review about noise are true and I experience it so much. The wifi quality is bad and so slow. I hope that the hotel management will consider this review since it is actually...

Rooms were pretty small. Wi-fi was really bad. Don't ever expect Wi-fi inside the hotel. Located near Chinatown and food street. Two metro stations are located within 1 mile radius. Expect nothing in the mini-bar.

Travelled on March 2015, first two nights and after few days one more night. Room(s) are absolutely tiny (I had an opportunity to discover four units)! Some of the standard units are with the windows and some without. I'd recomend a room without a window. Due the windows are not completely closed the dust, heat and the noice from outside...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
