Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city centre, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colourful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.

Location is okay if you want to be an an area that has no tourists and is quite authentic. Room was very basic. There was little bugs everywhere. Bathroom was mouldy. Rooms didn't get cleaned until we went and asked. Staff not very helpful. Didn't...More

Easy to get Taxis to bring you everywhere!
Hotel was OK, but just for sleep in bed. Near to MRT. Takes 10 minutes. Not many traveller. Many food courts And Markets. MRT Station is Aljunied. There are also many Bus Station. Infrastructure is perfect!
