Really awesome for price, in the middle of everything, easy access. Main strip a couple of minutes up the road, best coffee shop on the corner. Great cuisines local. Night life is great as well. Definitely good

The female receptionist is rude while the male receptionist does not really know anything. They don't really take credit card. The room is dirty with smears on the pillow and blanket. Just a few number of TV channels though I don't really watch the TV anyway. There are food vendors just meters away from the hotel. Wifi is fast (8Mbps...

This hotel is well situated for a stay whilst exploring Singapore, the rooms are cheap and habitable. However be prepared for a stiff neck from the leather wipe down pillows and a certain degree of sleep deprivation due to the prostitutes at work in neighbouring rooms depending on your depth of sleep! And the receptionist may, as she did with...

We spent only one night at this hotel. Flight was scheduled for early morning so couldnt sleep at the night and was tired. We request for early check-in. At first they denied but after 2 hours they provide us the room by cancelling previous booking. Room was very small. Room amenities were ok as it was single star hotel so...

I was looking for a cheap place to stay as I only had to spent 1 night in Singapore, and this hotel was what I was expecting for. The room are clean, with AC, flat screen TV and hot water. The bed was quite confortable and mostly : Free WIFI in the room which were working really well. I would...

I didn't expect much on the hotel facilities. Indeed we only stay for 2 nights. But what make it more worst is the unfriendliness of the lady staff. When we ask for the room key, she look at us like rubbish. There is no price for smile..why make it so hard?!

If you are looking for a cheap hotel in Singapore, this is a good choice. Although it is in the red light district, I felt safe here. The rooms are a bit old and could use some paint, but they are Air conditioned, have hot water and cable TV. There is a cheap place to eat on the corner where...

Well, I've seen worse. I have certainly also seen better. And the latter remark includes budget hotels and guesthouses. The room was clean but very narrow. The shower had hot water, some of the time. The aircon did not have even one pushbutton so it could not be regulated. Only turned on and off. - The worst however was the...

Thinking that I can have a night enjoying myself in this hotel, just as I ask the receptionist for a room with bathtub(which requires extra charges), ended up, the room doesn't have a bath tub! And as I stayed in the room for more than 15mins, I'm not entitiled for any refunds! Which means I've to stay on as I've...

I was surprised to find mould in the shower recess in such a new and luxuriously appointed hotel. Also the bathroom mirror was poorly cleaned, and my overall impression was that the room was just passably clean. Staff perhaps require more time to fully clean rooms to a standard comparable to that of hotels of a similar calibre.

Staying in Geylang

Neighbourhood Profile
Geylang
Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city centre, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colourful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
