Very good location close to a MRT station. But you can also walk to the main attractions if you prefer that. Nice atmosphere and the rooms are well equipped with lockers and sockets on each bed. If you have the possibility bring you own towel, its not included in the price. Very helpful staff. Definitely the better solution then to...

Since my first time staying in this hostel when I visited Singapore in August 2016, I kept going back to them because I cannot risk getting lousy beds in other hostels, although the other hostels are nicely decorated and it always entice me to go try. Also because Five Stones is so near to Bugis MRT station. I don't like...

I was looking for a place for 2N. I thought it looked fine and probably okish for my price range. I did a walking without knowing the prices upfront and it took me quite by surprise when I heard they charge 33SD for a dorm. But then I figured everything is pricy in Singapore so let's give it a try....

The staff are friendly, they clean regularly, the breakfast is fairly decent for a hostel and being free, and the showers are pretty good. The lockers are big enough for most bags, available for each guest, but also you can store stuff under the bed if in a lower bunk. Charger socket for each bed. You can do free laundry...

I must say we were extremely let down by this hostel. The common toilets were very seldom clean with human waste not flushed or piss on the toilet seats. If you are a couple it’s complicated to use the toilets the male and female toilets are not on the same floor and getting up at night to use the toilet...

The hostel is a very clean hostel. It has a large common area - however it is not very social and it seems that most people kept to themselves. There seemed to be a lot of couples. Breakfast is basic - toast and cereals. The hostel has a no shoe policy which helps maintain it clean and tidy. Wi-Fi is...

Very well located close to the centre easy to reach on public transport. Friendly staff, very clean, free breakfast, good wifi. It could maybe have done with having a couple more showers (on my floor there were 2 between 2 dorms) but other wise excellent and Very good value would highly recommend

They are very helpful to take me around and show me how good the hostel is. The breakfast and the service are very...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Singapore's best and friendliest hostel! With each of our rooms featuring interesting designs, Five Stones Hostel gives Singapore cultural elements a refreshing new lease of life. Quirky designs and decor characterize our spanking new boutique hostel. Boasting one of the best beds among Singapore hostels (8 inch orthopaedic spring mattresses, no less) and conveniently located within 10mins walking distance to the majority of Singapore's key tourist attractions, it's the latest addition to the plethora of high quality budget accommodation in Singapore which blurs the line between hostel and hotel. ... more   less
