Very, very tiny, dark, (no windows) low ceiling, not very clean rooms. Extremely hard beds and a bathroom you might want to avoid... Not a pleasant place to be. Location is very central so this makes it a bit better. If you are in Singapore just one day it is might be a budget option, but reconsider if you stay... More

If you dont want to ruin your vacation, go and find another hostel where you can stay. You will just waste your money staying here. Rooms are dirty and small, even towels are dirty. Save yourself from this hotel!

I had booked this hotel for stay between Sep 23 and 27, 2016. On arrival i was asked to move to another hotel about 5 km away as the room i had booked was not available. The hotel staff was impolite in promptly asking me to take a taxi and move to the new hotel. After my stay at the... More

Hotel is located in bargain street, Syed Alwi Road in Little India, in front of the Mustafa Mall. Surrounded by food stalls and a 3 to 5 minute walk to Farrer Park Metro Station. Hotel rooms are small and so for the elevator which may need a minor maintenance. Bed is quite hard and toiletries are not around. So if... More

This place is strategically located in Serangoon. The Major Advantage is that the eating places, shopping area is just couple of foot steps away. Yes Farrer Park MRT is about 3 minutes walking distance. But Singapore is not only Little India? It has many to offer. Going to places from here is convenient because of MRT. But the price you... Huge room, affordable, great location, okay for solo travellers, but the hotel smells old. Just 20 footsteps from the hotel is a 24 hours shopping mall, and train station is just a 3 minute walk...... No other issues encountered during my stay

This hotel has only the location going for it. The rooms are ridiculously small. Put down your suitcase, and you have literally nowhere to stand. Strange smell, very VERY old small towels, no windows and lots of noise from the hallway throughout the night. Once you enter the room - you can't wait to leave again. I made the mistake... More

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
