Couldn't visit Singapore without having a Singapore sling at raffles. A beautiful building and many tourists in the long bar. Area for tourists is kept separate from the hotel no doubt to keep the rif-raf away from the wealthy guests. The long bar is next to the billiard room and adjacent to a lovely garden with fountain. Very expensive for...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

The service is so superb it would take many pages to detail its various delights, it needs to be experienced rather than written about, but I would make a few points to assist potential guests. The base level room (Courtyard) is a true suite with a separate dinning/leisure area, a very large comfortable bedroom and large bathroom with double vanities...

If in Singapore, you just have to visit Raffles Bar ! As it was early afternoon when we visited, we stuck to the non-alcoholic version of the Singapore Sling but were a bit disillusioned to learn that not only is the genuine article extremely expensive (not really a surprise) but it is on tap ! Having said that, it is...

I stayed in the hotel from Feb 4 to Feb.9 with my family included a kid of more than 4 years old for celebrating my 9 years wedding anniversary. Every one of the hotel is very nice. At the first time when you stepped out from the taxi, you were just began treated as the distinguished guest. The Indian door...

We experienced the raffles bar and had to have a singapore sling. It was interestingly different to the ones we make at home, much sweeter! It was outside in the courtyard and it was so obvious that everyone was doing the same as us. The bar staff were very efficient and friendly, so we did enjoy it. The rooms were...

Everyone who visits Singapore must visit this hotel. It is an icon of Singapore and the first hotel to be built. Just walking around the hotel to see the architecture is enough. A Singapore Sling is expensive at $31 SD but it is outstanding.

If you are looking for a quick bite and reasonably priced. Then this is not for you We booked online before coming to Singapore, although that's not to say you could not possible book on the day. The hotel is quite simply beautiful. An oasis in an otherwise modern city location It is reminiscent of the days of the Raj....

Stayed for one night as part of my wife's 50th birthday trip, at the end of a 2 week cruise around the Far East. From our arrival to our departure, we could not have been made to feel more welcome, without the usual 'forced' mentality one finds in other hotels. Raffles is an exceptional experience, from the high level of...

Ok, I won't judge a book by its cover but I was very disappointed by our visit to this hotel. We only called in for the famous Singapore Sling. Quite frankly the one on our ship was far better. Over priced by far - the Long Bar was closed so we went to the Billiard Room to sit outside at...
