The Hotel's attention to detail for the duration of our stay was exceptional. From the initial welcome to the breakfast in the morning, it was a great experience and one I hope to have again sometime soon.

The service is so superb it would take many pages to detail its various delights, it needs to be experienced rather than written about, but I would make a few points to assist potential guests. The base level room (Courtyard) is a true suite with a separate dinning/leisure area, a very large comfortable bedroom and large bathroom with double vanities...

I have visited this Hotel in the past for a Singapore Sling and loved it! I took my partner today and the whole experience was spoiled by long queues and too many people!!! The long bar was closed for renovations which probably exacerbated the situation!

The answer of course, is TWO nights at Raffles... Because I stayed here for one night only back in December 2010 It might seems a little late for doing a review of a hotel that I visited in February 2016, indeed I was specifically there for Chinese New Year as a highlight of a month long trip to Australia, but...

I really enjoyed the experience of having a Singapore Sling at Raffles. There was a wait of about 20 minutes to get seated, but once we had the drinks in hand we had a lovely time. It is expensive, but it was more than just a drink as you are sitting in a piece of Singaporean history.

We visited Raffles for one thing only, just to drink a Singapore Sling, at the place where it was first made. It was a shame that the Long Bar was closed due to refurbishment. So we had our drinks in the cocktail bar next to the snooker room. The drink were pricey at S$31, before tax and service, but it...

Staff were friendly, venue was ok. We only had one Singapore sling ... VERY EXPENSIVE! Wasn't worth the money... We drank the drink in three sips using a straw. So we weren't there for long. We did receive a complementary? basket of peanuts in the shells.

Had to visit the Long Bar for a Singapore Sling. Pricey at $31 (about £20) but it is a bucket list trip. Sling was tasty but one was enough for the wallet! Got to the Long Bar just in time, it was closed the next day for renovations.

Due to the historic nature of Raffles, we went for afternoon tea which was not only incredibly good but a good price, matched with excellent service, we decided to visit the gift shop & the classic long bar tasting the original Singapore sling. Thoroughly recommended on all levels

Given it was our first visit to Singapore, having a Singapore Sling at Long Bar was right at the top of our list of priorities. Unfortunately, there was construction going on at the hotel, which made for a less than favourable atmosphere. Furthermore, I can't begin to articulate how disappointing the Singapore Sling was. Having traveled the world, I am...
