The hotel is located in Chinatown locality....The Outram Park MRT Station is the nearest metro station. Take the exit at New Bridge Road. The staffs are not that friendly...Very cold in their behavior.... The rooms are very small...Especially the bathrooms...We booked a Deluxe double room...If you are to the fatter side, it is not recommended at all....Not worth the money...There...

Overall the hotel was pretty functional and affordable. The hotel was extremely tidy and neat. Even though the rooms were quite small it was charmingly cozy and comfortable. It was also very functional. The hotel management was freindly and kind enough to give us a room upgrade for free, they were quite flexible as well. For Anyone traveling to Singapore...

I'm giving it a four star because the price is reasonable, it was clean, staff were friendly and a complimentary breakfast of toast and butter with coffee was available. Overall I had a very good experience and would stay there again. Things that may annoy other people (was ok for me) are the small size if the rooms, poor condition...

For Singapore hotel prices, this hotel is really affordable, clean, newly refurbished, with elevator, 5 minutes walk from Outram Park MRT via exit H towards a small Hindu temple direction and take right turn, many cafes and wine bars, really popular and packed Chinese restaurant just right opposite and burger restaurant too! 10 minutes walk to famed China Town centre.

The room is very small.. about 3 metres by 5 metres, including a shower/toilet, But it is very quiet at night! And so many good food plces very close, We took a taxi from the Airport as we arrived at night, but used the MRT to get back to Changi. Very easy walk even with suitcases, and easy travel.

Chinatown hotel is ideally located with plenty of great food options close by and most importantly they gave us a free room upgrade! The money we paid them was worth every penny. The staff were friendly and very accommodating too.

The hotel I usually book was full so I looked for a nearby hotel in the same price range and standing. I went for this one as it looked nice on the picture and had good reviews. The room is a good size for Singapore, other hotel offer much smaller for that price, it's clean and staff are friendly. It's...

Everything about the hotel is very good except for two things: the room was quite small, and the price is on the higher side for the size of the room. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained. It was a quiet hotel in a quiet neighborhood, except for a few...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.

“If you are determined to stay here, and it suits some of course, then ask for a back room as it will be for sure quieter than one over the front where from experience of the area I know it gets quite noisy and raucous on the social scene and cars although it is quite a narrow road width.”
