Located at a pretty decent location, about 10 minutes walk to the bus station and 15-20 minutes walk to the center and shopping mall.

Clean, comfortable beds and fairly spacious room. Wifi is fast in the room. The shared bathroom is very clean.

The only thing is that it's at a corner of a main road, so there are some traffic noise at night. Floor is wooden, so when you walk, it creaks.

Overall, it was ok

We stayed two nights.

The double room was clean, had drawers, and a mirror on the wall (it's the little things, isn't it?), and we didn't need to use the heater because the beds had piles and piles of heavy wool blankets. The beds themselves were comfortable. Our corner room had a lot of natural light, and the noise from the street died down after 10:30 or so.

Good location: about a 10 minute walk to the bus station, ferry terminal, and down town.

Bathroom was cleaned daily. The shower was great: plenty of piping hot water at good pressure.

The wifi worked great, even for skyping in our room.

Breakfast is average. One biscuit, tea or coffee, butter and jam. One day there was yogurt, but we only eat yogurt if it's plain and natural and this was sugary and flavored. Fruit would be a nice addition.

Service was cheerful. The staff practically jumped to help us with collectives and in answering our questions.

One thing I did not like was that they won't store your bags if you're waiting for a late night ferry on the day you check out. They say they were accused of theft in the past and in order to avoid it they did away with luggage storage. This is silly really, since they have access to your room all day when your out, so there really isn't a difference there. We just brought our luggage to the bus-station and paid to have it stored there. It's nice on days like that to be able to hang out at the hotel and use the wi-fi. Unfortunately they don't make that an option.

No kitchen and nothing much in the way of common area. So read "hotel" and not "hostel."

Still though, very happy with a comfortable nights sleep in a clean place with friendly staff--so they're doing the right thing where it really counts.

The hostel was basic, but clean and spacious. And it had really fast wifi throughout. It was a little noisy from the street traffic, but all and all comfortable. It's close enough to walk down to the water and restaurants. We left half our luggage there as we traveled around Patagonia for 3 weeks, but partially wondered if it would be there when we returned. When we returned they couldn't find the key to the closet they put it in, so they hammered the lock for awhile until it broke open. It was entertaining and a bit nerve racking.

They told us there was only one bus early in the morning to the airport and that we needed to take a taxi that they would call for us. We discovered that there were multiple buses all day that went to and from the airport at a fraction of the cost. The airport is really close, so a bus is a better option and value (its a nice bus too). They also said they would pick us up from the bus station for free, but it was a taxi that picked us up with a sign and we had to pay him.

Nice owners, but felt a little shady.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for 3 nights and we were both very satisfied. Each room had a big gas heater in it which was more than enough to keep us warm. The rooms were very clean and fresh towels were provided every day. 247 hot water, friendly staff and good wifi connection. Very relaxed atmosphere, only criticism would be that the breakfast was a bit sparse, consisting of a dry roll and jam. Aside from that, all very good.

We stayed here for three nights in a double room with own bathroom and had a good time. It was a safe place, the employees were very friendly and there was a heater in our room, but apparently not all of the rooms do. They offered tours that picked us up in front of the hostel. They were about 2.000CHP more expensive than from the bus terminal. It takes about
15minutes to walk down to the bus terminal and to the waterfront. The rest of the house was pretty cold in April. The breakfast was Chilean hostel standard. Bring something to upgrade it yourself :)
