Located about 5 blocks down Republica from O'Higgins, it's fairly well located and handy for the Metro - only a 10 minute walk. For the price and breakfast included this was excellent value, the staff were very helpful and actually very knowledgeable about the city and if they didn't know they went out of their way to find out. Breakfast... More

The place is not the perfect one, but it has it's backpackers atmosphere, location is good, staff helpful, breakfast tasty. Shared showers sometimes lack hot water. Overall it is a good value for money you pay, I would stay here again.

Firstly the positives....the staff are very friendly and having a kitchen to cater for ourselves was great too. Now to the negatives...the place is filthy, the rooms probably haven't been cleaned in months, the bed consisted of 3 matresses on top of each other. The room had no lock from the inside. The windows of the room faced onto the... More

This was the first place we stayed at on our journey and was mediocre. The reception staff were very good, helping us to get taxis when we left, giving directions all over town etc. However in terms of the location, this hostel is away from the touristy spots and they are a good 45 mins walk away. It is definitely... More

Ok I am going to be honest. I did love this place it reminded me of being young and care free. What I mean is great people and awesome service. But a little messy not unclean just messy. And relaxed/chilled. Like a crash pad in college. This place has a great enery and I stayed there twice and will stay... More

We had a horrible experience in this hostel back in january 2012. We ended up "sleeping" in the lounge as our beds/room was infested with bedbugs. To be fair to them they gave us our money back and we had a free breakfast.

GROSS. If you like sheets that smell like the previous occupier of the bed, then go for it. The breakfast is nice, the staff is great,, but obviously there is NO staff that cleans the bathrooms or dorms. disgusting.

Very home-like hostel. Holliday-atmosphere. Safe feeling. Nice terrace and bar outside. Surprising breakfast with a sunnyside-up egg, fresh fruitsalad, yoghurt, cerials, bread, tea, coffee. Great. Large TVroom with leather sofa's, big screen and lots of DVD's. Wifi everywhere. Rooms and beds are very ok, bathrooms large and home-like, though a little old and not so clean. Fantastic staff. Cool, fun,... More

I arrived at this hostel late at night, but before I called to assure everything was in order. The manager wasn't well aware of my reservation and told me to go anyways. When I arrived the manager was a bit waisted and had a glass of wine in his hand. Obviously he failed to give me a receipt and promised... More
