We stayed there for 3 nights and met no other tourists there - there were mostly south american young people who rent beds for a season. therefore - very little traffic of poeple, we felt like all of the kitchen and common areas are at our exclusive disposal. Nice! It is clean, there is a courtyard and the location is... More

This hostal is very well place of Santiago with a neat decoration in the circulation areas. The breakfast doesn't have much options, but is suficiently nice and enjoyable. The rooms are warm, the beds are a bit old, but still confortable if you are tired. I haven't noticed any bed sheets change for the 4 days I stayed there. Nevertheless,... More

Most part of my one week in the beautiful Santiago I was hosted at Luna Calypso. One of the owners, Sara, was very kind to me, she has borrowed me some money when I just arrived there, to go to the mall (Costanera Center) and get some pesos from my travelcard. By the way, I wasn't expecting to be so... More

I spent 4 days and found here tranquility and peacefull atmosphere. What I most appreciated was that it is a very clean place (cleaning up done every day)! The location is perfect, close to both downtown, Providencia and Barrio Italia and still in a quiet area.

The staff at this hostel are extremely friendly and helpful. I didn't have any issues coomunicating with Karin and my Spanish is BASIC at best! The place is immaculately clean. The common area is comfortable and homely. The Wifi was the fastest I've seen in South America and there is cable TV in the living room. I really liked the... More

I stayed in a single bedroom with a shared bathroom for 2nights. As you can see from the pics, my room was just lovely. The price was reasonable as well($26 per night)! The hostel is located in a very quite neighboorhood and you can find local restaurants and parks nearby. The host Karen was very nice and helpful. It was... More

My wife and I booked a double room here after seeing the many good reviews on Tripadvisor. When we arrived in Santiago, we couldn't find the hostel as it's on the opposite corner from the address given, and there are no obvious signs outside the hostel. The communal space is good, the rooms are clean and it's in a good... More

It’s fairly small size creates a low key atmosphere where different cultures and languages mix easily. The quaint kitchen, simple lounge and private back terrace are all fabulous conversation corners. Dorms and private rooms are clean and fresh with wooden floors, white walls, bold graphic bedding and pine beds. Hang out in our quiet garden after strolling around the lively city of Santiago. Our English speaking staff will happily provide you with maps, information and tips on where to go or you can hire a bike and explore the city on one of its many bike paths. We have private rooms [single/double/triple/] and a small dorm [max. of six people]. Bathrooms with 24h hot water, lounge and kitchen for your use are located on the cozy 2nd floor of the Hostel. ... more   less
