The hotel is in a tremendous location at the heart of the Concepcion area, very near the top of Reina Victoria funicular lift, with great views. The staff were exceptional in friendliness, support, and responsiveness. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable, with good size en-suite bathrooms with modern fittings and great showers! Our first room had exposed...

The old town in Valparaiso is a bit run down and clearly past it’s prime as a major seaport. Graffiti has been elevated to an art form and has been used to beautify the old buildings. The hill overlooking the harbor has been transformed into an artists community and the Fauna Hotel is located in its center. The Fauna Hotel...

We loved our time in Valparaiso, and our time at the Fauna Hotel and Restaurant. The hotel itself is interesting - beautiful contemporary architectural elements to combine two oldish buildings. Like most things in Valparaiso, it is in a VERY steep part of town where buildings seem to hang off cliff faces - literally in our case. Our room was...

This quaint boutique hotel is located in a great part of town overlooking the city. The boutique hotel is quite modern. Our room (as well as our friend's room) was on the smaller side. The biggest challenge is the ADA compliance. Rooms are located on several floors below and above the main level but there doesn't seem to be an...

This hotel is fabulous. Great young staff with a perfectly sited bar and restaurant. If noise at night is an issue for you, then you will need to think hard about in which area of Valparaiso you should stay. Wi-fi dodgy in rooms, great in public spaces.

We chose this hotel based on reviews and it was a good choice. The price was excellent, the location superb and the rooms although spartan offered clean and comfortable beds and bathrooms. Our room was a little noisy being at the bottom of the properly overlooking an outside area used by hotel guests but the gate closed at night so...

This is a place that is not for those looking for all the comforts of a 5 star hotel. However it is a gem. The rooms are minimalistic - a hat stand the only hanging space. Carpet is rare. No TV to waste your time in the room. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms clean and adequate. The...

\A reasonably price, up scale hotel in the best location for wandering Valpo and experiencing the eclectic vibe of the area\ The hotel is at the top of a hill, right next to an "Ascensor" or hill side lift that takes you up and down the steep hill to the square below for 100 peso (20c us) each way. Totally...

Love this hotel. The hotel, located in the heart of the old city, offers great views and a helpful staff. Updated interior reflects a sensitivity to the past and to the environment. The location is adjacent to the Reina Victoria funicular and easy walking distance to a number of restaurants. If you use Uber for more far flung destinations you...

We only stayed there for one night but it was a nice experience. The rooms smelled a little of mold but probably due to the exterior wall which is made from some sort of clay and hay base. Great rooftop restaurant with amazing food. It is located in an nice area, the only downside is that they don't have a...
