We stayed for one night in this hotel at the recommendation of Sally Vergette of RideAndes. The hotel was very reasonable in cost, very clean with lovely large rooms that were extremely quiet. We arrived late and had some soup in their dining room and the food was superb. Breakfast the next morning was included with the room and also...

Not only that at the receptionist made all possible to make my stay comfortable but he also made me a price reduction (per night) since i was going to stay more than one weekend. When I got into my room I discovered that Internet strength signal was not the best I called to front desk so they sent a technician....

We stayed a few nights at the Sebastian. The room was adequate and clean but dark with and "old" feel about it. The staff and supporting services were inconsistent. Our room phone did not work and in spite of several promises, it was never fixed. The Wi-Fi sometimes worked and sometimes did not. They have a business center, but it...

Overall really liked this hotel. Roomy, comfortable, free wi-fi, CNN (our 1st in a week). I loved the firm mattresses, husband didn't. Great location in Marischal, walking distance to Plaza Foch and the Mercado. Most of the staff were pretty friendly and helpful. If you are lucky you will meet Victor Alban (bellman) - he's a terrfic resource for all...

I stayed in 5 awesome hotels across peru and ecuador and this one was my least favorite. Definitely not worth more than the 80$/night. I might actually rate it good for the price but don't have the option. I picked this hotel based on the Tripadvisor reviews and I see now that most reviews are quite accurate, but it depends...

We have stayed at The Sebastian two times for multiple nights each time and the hotel is clean and beautifully decorated, which are nice, BUT...the beds were very hard and very uncomfortable and the noise from the street in the front is a problem for even deep sleepers and if you choose to stay on the back side the rooms...

We stayed at the Hotel Sebastian during our 10 day visit in Ecuador. We found the staff very helpful in all aspects of our visit. The restaurants provides a very nice breakfast and we had dinner a couple of time (which was also excellent). The staff speaks good English and provides helpful information about the city and surrounding areas and...

Great location very near Plaza Quinde and the La Mariscal area which is where most tourists stay and were all the restaurants and bars are. The hotel options in the Old City are limited and expensive. Sebastian is about a 3 minute walk from Plaza Quinde (I think its also called Plaza Foch) and its very quiet as a result....

I stay at the Hotel Sebastian about six times a year while on business. The rooms are very comfortable, price is reasonable, the restaurant food is very good and the staff is superb. I highly recommend this hotel - which I would rate best in Quito for its category.
