We spent three days at the hotel in suite 211. We loved our stay. The room (and hotel) was very nice and super clean. The staff were extremely helpful and went beyond to help is deal with a few problems. It is very close to all the activities. We highly recomment this hotel and would return anytime! The restaurant served...

The Hotel Santa Lucia is a quaint colonial-style hotel in the heart of Cuenca, a city famous for its colonial-style architecture. The room was spacious and attractive and the staff very accommodating. Breakfast is included with the room, with a limited menu based on eggs and a small fruit plate.

…in the middle of it is where the Hotel Santa Lucía is located. Over the 2+ years we’ve lived in Ecuador, my wife and I have traveled to Cuenca over a half-dozen times. We’ve stayed at a variety of different hotels, but Santa Lucía is shaping up as our favorite. There are more elegant options available, but Santa Lucía’s location,...

As other reviewers have said this is a good central location for Cuence. The breakfast was excellent in a charming dining room. BUT, I found the hotel cold and creepy. We had a room on the top floor which was ok but along a creepy corridor. They have tried to modernise the hotel by placing sticks in buckets in several...

Really good breakfast: fruit juice, fruit and you choice of eggs :) Charming hotel, with nice inner garden. Location is just perfect, short walk to Cathedrals. In Cuenca everything is walking distance (at least this area)

Lovely hotel, close to the central square. Good sized rooms with good facilities. The only thing we missed, and this is probably the same in most traditional hotels, was tea/coffee facilities in the room. There was complimentary coffee in the lobby though. The meals were very good and there is a good cocktail selection, all at sensible prices. The style...

This hotel is ideally situated in the old town, a very short walk from the main square , old and new cathedrals. Our room was on the first floor and the window overlooked the internal courtyard so it was heard to see what the weather was like! The reception staff were helpful, and spoke good English. In other similar hotels in...

The hotel has a nice inner garden where diner and breakfast are served. We got two small rooms with connecting doors which is appreciated if you travel with 4. Although it appeared to have no windows, so those rooms are not for claustrophobic people. The hotels location is ideal to walk into the Cuenca.

The building has been renovated beautifully, central courtyard with surrounding rooms. The staff are marvelous, most helpful with any questions. The bar as well as both restaurant areas are convenient if you want to stay in, and provide excellent service. The morning breakfast is as good as any complimentary breakfast I have had. The only downside was our room on...
