Really good breakfast: fruit juice, fruit and you choice of eggs :) Charming hotel, with nice inner garden. Location is just perfect, short walk to Cathedrals. In Cuenca everything is walking distance (at least this area)

Lovely hotel, close to the central square. Good sized rooms with good facilities. The only thing we missed, and this is probably the same in most traditional hotels, was tea/coffee facilities in the room. There was complimentary coffee in the lobby though. The meals were very good and there is a good cocktail selection, all at sensible prices. The style...

This hotel is ideally situated in the old town, a very short walk from the main square , old and new cathedrals. Our room was on the first floor and the window overlooked the internal courtyard so it was heard to see what the weather was like! The reception staff were helpful, and spoke good English. In other similar hotels in...

The hotel has a nice inner garden where diner and breakfast are served. We got two small rooms with connecting doors which is appreciated if you travel with 4. Although it appeared to have no windows, so those rooms are not for claustrophobic people. The hotels location is ideal to walk into the Cuenca.

The building has been renovated beautifully, central courtyard with surrounding rooms. The staff are marvelous, most helpful with any questions. The bar as well as both restaurant areas are convenient if you want to stay in, and provide excellent service. The morning breakfast is as good as any complimentary breakfast I have had. The only downside was our room on...

This hotel was a great pick! Walking distance to great restaurants, local markets, churches, the river and more. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped with recommendations and helped us plan our trip to Ingapirca. The complimentary breakfast was beyond our expectations. With coffee, juice, fruit, an assortment of bread and an egg option. We ate dinner here...

Located in the city centre in a traditional house built with galleries around a central courtyard, now covered. My room on the top floor was most comfortable but with hopeless wifi and a view of a car park. Noisy music from a neighbouring bar might have kept others awake: I was too exhausted to care. The bathroom was clean and...

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in central part of Cuenca. It is very convenient, and comfortable for travelers. The restaurant serves a wonderful Salmon with grilled vegetables that was as good as any I have had in great restaurants in Seattle. The bar and cafe are wonderful and intimate for lighter fare, or a drink/snack with friends. Highly recommended.

I booked this hotel based on excellent reviews, description and photos on EXPEDIA. I love "boutique" hotels and could not have picked a nicer one. The taxi ride from the Main bus station will be less than $2.00. Very reasonable. I was greeted at the door by a wonderful young man who also works in the adjoining cafe', "La Placita"....

We met a Cuenca friend for drinks in Santa Lucia's bar. It is an intimate space, charming and quiet. (The barman is perfectly willing to turn down the music.) Becoming hungry, we ordered a selection of appetizers that were reasonably priced and excellent in quality. For example, a fritto misto was delicious and only $5 for a nice quantity. A...
