I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and met the standard, but the promised price from the reception was doubled when checking out. We were robbed and falsely accused of having trashed the room when checking out. We were able to prove that it was not our room due to the different floor color. The staff was very rude and unhelpful. In addition, the hotel was very noisy. We could hear everything that was going on in the next room. We could even hear the people talking in the hallway. This made it very difficult to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

European boutique-style hotel within walking distance of many attractions- but because it is in the heart of the city and near many attractions, there is some noise so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and they will store luggage if you have a side trip planned (such as a G Adventures tour). There is plenty of space available for gathering of a small group in various areas of the hotel, and there is a rooftop terrace with a great view of the city. The rooms are nicely furnished, but don't seem to have heat or A/C however plenty of blankets are provided (for my stay in September, I had to take two heavy blankets off and I was still rather warm). There are different styles of plugs/outlets in the rooms, so I recommend having an adapter and converter for any electronics (the first room I was in had the two round prong European style outlets, the second room had the two flat prong North American style outlets). The free continental breakfast didn't offer a lot of choices, but it was fairly tasty.

Stayed here pre and post G Adventures Machu Picchu tour. The rooms are very basic and the first room was a street facing one in which the safe did not work and was very noisy due to the traffic outside. The shower has a vent which leads to the corridor outside which was also noisy. The breakfast buffet was very basic and mostly unappetising and included overcooked pasta. The jam and butter seemed to be rationed although coca tea was available all day at reception. There was no tea/coffee facilities in the room but was available for a small cost in the restaurant which was brought to the room if asked for. On the plus side the hotel has a very central location for all that Cusco has to offer.

I stayed in this hotel as part of a tour I had booked through a travel company. I was not expecting luxury but I found this hotel disappointing. It was freezing cold at night, even with blankets and heaters. And the shower water was not consistently hot. The breakfast options were strange - pasta and hot dogs. Bread with nothing to spread on it, and cereal which you could only have with hot milk. The rooms were clean enough and had the basics, but only half a roll of toilet roll in each bathroom. The location is good and central to walk around Cusco. I was not impressed that when I left I was called out in front of the whole tour group to pay 10 SOL because there was makeup on one of the towels in my room. It would have washed out and I have never been asked to pay for leaving a mark before. It was only a bit of makeup!

During my recent visit to Prisma Hotel in Cusco, I was disappointed by the overall experience. While the rooms were adequate for hostel standards, the lack of soundproof walls made it incredibly challenging to get a good night's sleep. The noise levels from neighboring rooms were beyond disruptive, to the point where every sound was audible. I could hear my neighbors using the toilet, coughing, sneezing, and practically everything that one can imagine happening in a room. This lack of sound insulation was a major drawback, severely impacting the quality of my stay. To exacerbate the situation, Prisma Hotel collaborates with numerous tour operators, which meant that guests who had early morning tours would wake up at 3 or 4 am. Unfortunately, due to the thin walls, their activities would reverberate throughout the entire floor, causing disturbance to other guests. The constant slamming of doors by these early-risers only added to the noise issues. This problem persisted throughout my five-night stay, with different neighbors each time, yet the issue of door slamming persisted. It was incredibly frustrating to be frequently awakened during the night due to the lack of consideration from other guests and the hotel's inability to address the noise problem effectively. Furthermore, the cleaning staff at Prisma Hotel began their duties as early as 7 am, and their work involved the use of walkie-talkies, resulting in yet another round of noise disturbance. This early morning disruption prevented any chance of sleeping in and starting the day refreshed. The combination of the noisy neighbors, frequent door slamming, and early morning staff activities created an environment that was far from conducive to a restful and peaceful stay. Considering the significant impact that noise had on my overall experience at Prisma Hotel, I cannot recommend it for those seeking a quiet and tranquil environment. If getting a good night's sleep and enjoying a peaceful stay are important to you, I would advise exploring other accommodation options in Cusco.

I stayed here for 4 days. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and a wonderful ambiance. The rooms were clean, clean sheets ect. They did provide heat for the room. The breakfast is a joke. They truly can do better. If you go between 8:30 and 9 the food is just about done. You are basically left to eat "what's left". I got some what good breakfast once. Most of the time it's only fruit left. The beds although very comfortable the pillows are hard and tough. I had to end up buying my own. They need to do better with breakfast selection.

Terrible reception when I checked in. Rude and disinterested! I do have to say some of the other staff were better but not the typical happy helpful Peruvian or Andean people I’ve encountered elsewhere during my visit. I made the mistake of having dinner in the hotel restaurant, I was too tired to venture out! Badly cooked burger and mushy chips (fries) at least the bottled beer was good! Breakfast was a joke. There wasn’t any. No bread, nothing hot left, I had to ask for bread, then a glass then a knife and it all seemed such a chore. The room was fine if a little basic, no shampoo or hand towel, which I did get the second night. I stayed in this hotel as it was part of a tour based in Cusco. I stayed in a different hotel for the rest of my time in Cusco and it was night and day difference. Do your self a favour and stay somewhere else.

My partner and I booked hotel for 2 night stay in Cusco. Parking is right next door, a guy will give you a ticket and you pay him on leaving. Check in was very quick. Reception friendly but no information was given about breakfast, or hotel facilities. We booked an executive room, basically for the balcony. Although we didn’t have a table , only 1 chair. We took another chair from the next balcony. The extra price to pay for this was worth it though, the view on a morning and evening was fantastic.Rooms are all the same size , no bigger. No internet connection at all . Staff informed us of this after they gave us a Wifi code?🤷🏻‍♀️. Breakfast isn’t good, very basic. Location is good about 8 mins walk to main square. Probably wouldn’t book again. Stayed in much better hotels from Lima to Arequipa.

Hotel is not flash but simple and well located to walk into plaza in under 10 mins, area feels safe enough. My room has large shutters that look down into the interior of the hotel which means it is nice and light and fun if you like to see what is going on. I write this from a very cosy warm bed I am pinned down with heavy blanket. Had a good sleep despite the surrounding noise of other guests moving around on the sitting area outside my room and the bridges/staircases.

We stayed at Hotel Prisma for 3 nights during our Machu Picchu tour, the hotel is located around 10 minutes from the centre of Cusco. The rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was decent and the staff were friendly. Shower pressure did seem to be better on the ground floor compared to the third.
