Stayed in this hotel for 4 days as part of a tour and the location is great. Only 5 or 6 blocks from the lively Cuzco Plaza. The walk is short and feels extremely safe. The rooms are big and comfortable, however, I would avoid rooms overlooking the street, since you can hear everything. The morning breakfast was very simple,... More

We arrived late into the train station and the hotel arranged for a taxi to pick us up. We did have to pay but it was nice to be met. The beds were super comfy with very nice linens. Very clean. They had a heater in the room (it was 28 degrees F at night) that kept us very comfortable.... More

Rooms at the back are quieter. Ask about how the heater functions as it does get cold in the rooms. As almost everywhere on the Inca trail and lake Titicaca a warm pyjama and socks are required. I used my winter underwear. Warm water is always available to make herbal and regular tea. The personnel is fluent in English and... More

We booked this place through Peru 4 Less and found it to be a very nice place to stay in Cusco. It was stylish, clean, and had a very attentive staff that was bilingual and always to ready to help with anything. They also provided a complimentary breakfast. The hotel was about 3 blocks from the Cusco plaza and plenty... More

Located on the end of a road ~10 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas and ~20 min walk up to Sacsayhuaman. Made the location quieter but also could not walk alone at night. Room has cold tile floors but the heater is sufficient. Towels were a little old and fraying. Very nice staff who helped us out quite a... More

Hotel Mamasara is nice and clean. The room had two beds and a monitor. There wre only peruvian channels on the TV. the hotel staff was helpful. The location is just a 10-20 min walk from the center of the town.

We loved the Mamasara hotel, was a correct three star hotel with a family atmosphere and not far from the main square in Cuzco where some attractions and restaurants are. The hotel doesn't offer meals but only breakfast. The rooms behind are quite if you look for more silence.

I stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights earlier on this month. It's a lovely hotel with an amazing breakfast!
