The staff was rude and unhelpful, and the hotel was poorly designed. Other hotels we stayed at nearby in Cusco were a far better value, particularly Amaru Hostal II. This hotel doesn't have central heating in the rooms. Night time in the mountains gets pretty cold, and there are only small electric heaters in the rooms. Thus, when you arrive,...

I´m not against budget hotels, but a minimun comfort is necessary. Starting with therroms which are incredible small. I was with my wife and the room doesn´t accomodate us at all. I aske dto change the room twice in order to get a better room, but there weren´t any room with a minimum of space. The rooms has no windows...

Half block to Plaza de Armas. Friendly staff can send a cab to pick you up at the airport. For the price I would say there was a value however the room was ok and the bathroom needed some update (sometimes there was a sewer smell). Also the towels were real bad, old and they looked like a mopping cloth....

We stayed at Sol Plaza Inn in early July 2013 - Great location within walking distance of Plaza de Armas and restaurants - Good and free breakfast served as early as 5:30 which is great for mornings with an early start - Courtyard and at least a couple of sitting areas to relax in. This is helpful particularly since our...

First of all room was booked for 2 people for 2 nights over the Internet by someone who has traveled extensively and knows how to book a room. Upon arrival the hotel staff said the room was booked for 4 people with no negotiations. Also the room prices listed on the wall were approximately 25 USA dollars less that what...

Very cute location with open air lobby, breakfast is pretty standard. Staff was helpful and nice, rooms are pretty basic with a bed and bathroom, but you really shouldn't e vacationing to Peru with the intention to stay in your hotel room :-). Location is perfect, right near the plaza del armas.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and the location was an advantage to the little time that we had in Cusco. It doesn't take more than 5 minutes walking to get to the main plaza. The rooms are small and you don't really have much privacy. But then again, the staff people are very nice, anything you need...

This hotel sufficed our trip, location great within walking distance to town central t, staff great although language barrier clearly evident at times. Given the chance again I would choose something a little more- old carpet and printed sheets from the 90' s not really my thing. However if you're looking for just somewhere to sleep with good access and...
