I love this place for the family style atmosphere, friendly staff, nice garden and tasty breakfast. The location is very good, in the center near to the market, where u can feel the local life. I always bring my groups here, my peeps are also satisfied.

Although other reviewers mentioned that the shower temperature can be unpredictable I was up early at 5AM and had really nice water pressure and hot water. The room was rather large, bed was comfortable, and simple toiletries were provided with a large (and quite heavy) towel. If you arrive after hours it is best to let them know ahead of time as I had to wait for someone to hear me knocking all the way outside. Check-in was very easy, just paid the money quoted online, partly in dollars and the rest in soles, and was told I could just leave the key in the room upon leaving early in the morning. Free WiFi was accessible in the room. The lodge is located about a 5-10 minute walk from the main square, not bad of a location at all and very close to the collective bus stop on Pavitos (just a block away). Would definitely return to stay again if in the area.

I spent 1 week here and it was one of the best decisions I have made. The price is so reasonable and the location in the commercial district is perfect for being part of the local life of Cusco. Not a tourist trap. Very safe neighbourhood. The staff are so eager to assist in all your needs and are helpful at making arrangements for tickets and taxis. The room was very clean, and comfortable with lots of hot water in the spacious bathroom. The breakfast was substantial and the room was open 24 hours with hot water thermoses set out should one desire tea at any hour. I would definitely stay here again!

So i stayed here twice due to my trip to Macchu Picchu. Good things: 1) very quiet. max 1 km distance from Plaza de Armas. Rest 2 plazas even nearer. I walked all the time. Compared to -1 degree, rooms are warm; friendly staff; Not so good: 1) Second time the room i got had no hot water. I did not complain as I was leaving anyways; breakfast spread should definitely have hot milk; the second room i got did not have enough electrical points/ were broke; no taxi can wait in this alley as it is narrow overall worth the money. no complaints.

I liked the cleanliness of this place. The owner and his family who run the place are very friendly and attentive. It’s in a good location, about 8 minutes from the city center. I did not give five stars because it is very, very cold- colder than any other place (3 total) I stayed in Cusco. The water for a shower was warm but not hot. Also, for those looking to meet and connect with other travelers- this really isn’t the place. It’s very quiet, which is great for sleeping!
