Extremely clean and well located. I have been in many different hotels around the city of Cuzco and Garcilazo is a good place to stay. Definitely a clean place where you will feel comfortable and warm.

(This review is about the hotel nearest to Plaza de San Francisco. There is another hotel of the same name and same company next door, closer to the Plaza de Armas.) The service here is next to none. They were very accommodating of us and our 3 small children. The building is

Stayed before/after Machu Picchu Trek. Good budget option - no easy vehicle access but only two minutes walk from main square. Lovely courtyards at both locations. Rooms clean and simple. Breakfasts good quality.

I stayed at Hotel Garcilaso 2 which is 50 meters up the road from the main hotel. The location was right in the heart of the old area and tourist hub of Cusco so everything was a short walk away. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this
