This property was a dream. Starting with the beautiful location down a peaceful and quaint little alley just off the main street running through San Blas, you already feel you're at a special place. The little alley adds just that lovely tough of secluded calm, and yet you're just steps away from all the dining, sight-seeing and shopping your heart could ever desire, including mere blocks away from historic Cusco's main plaza.

Likewise, the service provided by the staff matches the property's cozy feel with their expert attention to detail, especially from Marco, who instantly made us feel welcome and at home and quickly provided one of us with oxygen and words of comfort after we had succumbed to the effects of the altitude. (Thank you, Marco! You are a gem!) Also, the lady who runs the kitchen was absolutely lovely, always greeting you with a warm smile and catering to every possible culinary need (my made-to-order eggs were always perfect!). Incidentally, the breakfast buffet was excellent and it was served in the coziest and most charming little dining room, decorated with authentic Peruvian textiles on the walls and with a lovely view of the courtyard. The breakfast items on offer covered every angle possible, from a vast array of very gourmet cereals (including the fabulous kiwicha grain, a Peruvian superfood, which was delicious by the way), to the fresh-squeezed orange juice, to a nice selection of sliced cheeses, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers and fruits, lovely rolls and toast, and, naturally, fabulous coffee with perfectly 'warmed' milk, which was a very nice touch.

Overall, the property looks and feels like an original colonial property that was retrofitted/converted to serve as a boutique hotel and peppered throughout with historical details, such as the framed authentic fragments of antique Peruvian textiles lining the walls (wow!). San Blas, overall, has a fantastic artsy vibe with tons of artisanal restaurants, boutiques and art galleries around every corner. We must've taken hundred of photos along the steep streets and alleys of that neighborhood alone. Everywhere you look, there's a stunning panoramic perspective to capture of the lovely vistas over the rooftops of the old town. Truly, one cannot beat Casa San Blas's strategic location at the heart of all that the San Blass neighborhood has to offer.

Our third-floor room was designed as a loft, with beds upstairs and a full bathroom, kitchenette (with fridge and microwave) and sitting areas downstairs, including a large and comfy sofa-bed. The sleeping area upstairs is enhanced by a large picture window which offers a fantastic and dramatic panoramic view over Cusco's historic skyline (yet another wow!). There's also a beautiful terrace with tables and chairs and a lovely array of plants just outside our room and overlooking the neighborhood's red tiled roofs.

We would definitely stay here again and are already planning our next trip to Perú.

This hotel was PERFECT from beginning to end. We came to Cusco to do the Salkantay trek, and arrived in Cusco 3 days before the start of the trek to acclimate. When we checked in, the young gentlemen at the desk was very kind, informative, and willing to do whatever was needed to make our stay better.
The hotel had an amazing breakfast served daily, to your room, and you as the guest, set the time for the breakfast. Huge arrangement of food to choose from.
Bottled water was always available and a glass refillable bottle was in the room for guest to refill as often as they needed.
Coca tea was always available.
Since we had never been in Cusco before, we asked the young man at the front desk for recommendations of restaurants to eat at.
What he recommended was on point ranging anywhere from local flavor (cuy), to Italian Peruvian fusion, and Chinese Peruvian fusion.
He also told us the best places to shop, and things to look out for.
The day before we left for the trek, we asked if we could leave our bags at the hotel, even though we would be staying at a different hotel once the trek was over. My husband made the comment that "we had been so comfortable at casa San Blas, to inquire one more time of any rooms had opened up when we got back, so we could stay another few days there."
When I had initially looked to book a room at that hotel post trek, nothing was available that would fit our needs. I did inquire with the same young man at the desk, and he was able to make the new arrangements for our post trek stay, a reality, and he also was able to arrange it so we would be in the same room!
The day of the trek, i had requested no breakfast service since we were leaving at 350am, however, a bagged breakfast was made available for us, and that was awesome!
We were told to leave our bags in the room, and they would be secured.
Post trek, we arrived back to the hotel, went right back into our original room, where we stayed another 3 nights!
Location was perfect, many cute shops around, also close to a market and laundry facility which we needed badly, after a 5 day trek.
Bed was comfortable, a space heater for
In case it got cold, an outdoor patio space to enjoy, WiFi, hot water bottles given to all guest every night, and all the amenities needed to stay comfortable!
We highly recommend this place!
You will not be disappointed!

Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent!! Best part of the hotel were the two front desk staff. They were so nice and so friendly. Helped us organize our trips and required Covid tests before coming back to US. They had coffee and boxed breakfast ready as early as 4 am before our trips to humantay lake and rainbow mountain
There’s a little hill you have to climb to get to the hotel which can be hard due to altitude but the views are amazing
Would definitely stay there again!

This was a great place to stay in Cusco and I will definitely stay here again the next time I come back! The staff (especially JD at the front desk) were so helpful with making the reservation, storing luggage, calling a taxi, etc. The shower had consistent hot water (not always common in Peru!) and the rooms have mini heaters so you stay warm at night - they even brought a hot water bottle to put at the foot of the bed to keep it warm. The interior decor shows examples of Quechuan (Incan) culture that I also thought was a nice touch. It's very conveniently located in the San Blas neighborhood with lots of boutique stores and restaurants nearby, and a short walk to the Plaza de Armas.

This hotel was our base for four weeks . We would store our luggage - safely! for multi day trips to the rainforest etc and then return “home”. The staff is super professional and very helpful and friendly. The hotel is comfortable , decorated with love and care. Check the senior suite for a jacuzzi bathtub , or the star suite for an incredible view of the city from your bed. Great Terrasse for breakfast . Great location for discovering the city. Plus: sustainability! No plastic bags for garbage, water and tea are offered and it’s encouraged to refill your bottle instead of wasting plastic.
Only neg: was sad to leave :-)

This hotel is in the heart of San Blas historic center in Cusco, 3/4 blocks to the Plaza de Armas. (5/8 mins walking distance)
Kayla the front office manager at the hotel was extremely helpful. She spoke excellent English and also called taxi, offered to speak with tour operators on our behalf.
The room was excellent, came with an oil heater and extra blankets. (In November night temperature in Cusco can drop to 35/40 F)
Breakfast was included and was very lovingly made by the staff. Because of the pandemic, the staff would ask the time of our breakfast and what we would like to have in breakfast the night before.
Cusco is hilly in general and walking around all day in and around Cusco can be tiring. Every evening the hotel would provide us hot water bags to soothe our tired feet which was a bonus.
Kayla and everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make sure that we had a comfortable stay at the hotel.
Definitely recommend staying here!

We loved this hotel! First off, it is in a great location as it is a short and fun walk to the main square in Cusco. The hotel is very clean, nicely decorated, provides plenty of purified water to drink and offers a very plentiful and delicious breakfast. They even provided us with a boxed breakfast when we had to leave the hotel very early one day. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They will do anything to make your stay with them as pleasant as can be.

The hotel is nice and clean. It’s also a short walk to the square. We stayed in 2 different rooms (we checked out to do a 5 day trek) and the first room shower was ok, not much water pressure. Our current room is great. It’s a little cold, but they supply a portable heater. Breakfast is supplied and has a nice assortment of food. Aida was great and remembered how we like our eggs, alway made sure we had coffee and everything else.

This place is amazing! So professional and well maintained, I am honestly impressed, probably the best place where I have been in Peru!

The linen is good quality, the hot water arrives fast, the soap they provide is soft and nice, and, most of all:

THE MASSAGE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! One of the best, if not the best of my life. This lady is a true professional, she knew exactly where to put pressure, I could feel the tense spots she was treating, she was strong and really made the necessary efforts unlike some other place where ladies vaguely rug you. I absolutely loved it!!!

I can’t say enough about how well we were treated at this lovely B&B. When we checked in, Sofia at the front desk greeted us and had us sit while she prepared a tea of coca leaves to help ease our acclimatization to the altitude. We booked a queen suite our first night and it was on the third floor with a spectacular view of Cusco, and a little patio outside to enjoy it more. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, good water pressure and heat, and the mini kitchen was well appointed. When we checked out we let them know we would be going to Machu Picchu for one night and then return to stay with them again. They prepared a box breakfast for us to take the next morning and we were able to store our suitcases with them. On returning from the excursion (tired…very tired!) we checked in and Juan Diego at the front desk immediately welcomed us and walked us immediately to our room where our suitcases were already there waiting for us, along with a room heater for the cold Cusco night, and hot water bottles already in the foot of our bed. I can’t tell you how amazing it felt to be able to walk in to the hotel after a long day and just be escorted to our room and fall into bed! Incredible service. The next day we are breakfast and Aida attended us and was so sweet. The food was varied, fresh, and delicious. If we are ever back in Cusco we would stay here again. The property is beautiful, but the staff are what would bring us back. They made us feel like family.
