This place is so cute and has such a nice local feel. There's all types of beautiful murals and paintings on the walls. It was clean, the staff was super helpful and polite. The breakfast was outstanding and the rooms were spotless. The beds were very hard but hey- whatever, it was no big deal. Still slept pretty good regardless....

I stayed at the Mabey for two nights with a tour group en route to Machu Picchu. First, I was assigned a very upscale room directly facing the main road. The noise level was unbearable, so I asked to be moved and was told there were no rooms until the next night. I stood my ground and ended up in...

Quite a nice hotel, staff positive & helpful, furnishings of a high standard, breakfasts were excellent; only small negative was the position, a fair walk to the city centre, though admittedly along a shopping street.

This small hotel in Cusco is very economic. You would need a taxi ride to get to Plaza de Armas, but is not that far. A cross the street, there is a Chinese restaurant and a small market. They have free breakfast on the top floor and free wifi. The hotel had great service and the desk attendants were helpful.

Didn't have a choice of hotel to stay in but I wouldn't have picked this hotel. Staff really friendly & helpful but afraid the rooms were very cold & dirty. Quilts were stained & not covered. Funky smell in the room. Location is not great and a bit out of town but only 5/6 Sols in taxi. We booked into...

The hotel was fine. Not my first choice but then I didn't have a choice! There was 22 of us on a Charity Trek to Machu Picchu. To be fair, it was fine. All we needed was a bed and a bathroom. However, be prepared, there's no heating (apart from a plug in radiator) and we were FREEZING on the...

The hotel is located next to a chainsaw shop. Nothing wrong with that but it shows the section of town that it is in. The hotel has the most beautiful woodwork that I think I have seen in any hotel in Peru. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. They provided us directions and a map to where...

If you are not choosy at all, it's ok. We got stuck here due to a mistake made by the travel agency. Old carpets, old bathrooms, poor breakfast, coffee so strong you can break your spoon in it. Expensive for what they offer. No fridge in the room, simple hairdryer. There is a computer station in the bar but it...

We spent four night at this hotel and it was OK. Do not expect high luxury. Beds are comfortable and bathroom is OK. TV has good selection of channels. Breakfast is average, it is good for a quick snack before your journey to Cuzco/Machu Picchu and surroundings. Take a taxi to the main plaza, it is the best option. In...

“We arrived and were given room 408 which was a windowless room on the air shaft , we were kept awake all night by kitchen noises from the hotel restaurant above . The next day we requested a new room and they obliged . Checked out next day for Machu Pichu and when we returned to Hotel Mabey we were given an even noisier room directly under the dining room .We were awakened at 4 am . This time we were not given another room . The hotel is in a remote area of town and there are many better options to choose .”
