I stayed here as part of a tour group. The hotel overlooks the lake and is lovely and peaceful. The buffet breakfast was nice and the staff were so helpful. WIFI was good. The rooms were nice. Due to the altitude, some of my group were struggling with breathing. One man was given oxygen. They were very caring. The only...

Cannot fault the room, the service or the meals on this hotel. Nicely placed within easy walking distance of the main square and the market. Had a. Located on a narrow street ten minutes from the main plaza. A busy lobby with complimentary coca leaf tea overlooking a small pretty garden (with hummingbirds). Free Wifi throughout. Downstairs a spacious dining room serves a reasonable breakfast and good meals. The bedrooms vary with their position. We had three different stays between tours and all rooms were noisy with...

A good & quiet location! Hotel although dated has everything needed. Rooms spacious. beds huge & comfortable. They arrange airport pick-up & delivery (small fee). The staff (with English speaking) very helpful. Breakfast included; storage of luggage if going to MP. Over all this hotel is good value for your money.

This hotel is in a good location, it's close to the centre and in a quite neighbourhood. However, the decor is dated and poorly maintained. Our room had pictures which were falling apart, a shower that leaked and power outlets that had clearly burnt out at some point. A constant disappointment was the lack of hot water. We stayed three...

We went to Cusco hoping to stay in a nice hotel, nothing fancy but a Boutique type. This hotel was recommended by our tour company. Trip Advisor gives it 3 stars but may need to re-evaluate. The hotel is very old and is on one of the busy streets right downtown Cusco, (nice for walking though). The lobby is anything...

Watch out for room 219, the bed nearest the window! Doctor confirmed by the characteristic linear, itchy marks. Also, on our first night, reception woke us up at 9:20am to tell us that we were overdo to check out apparently not aware that we had just gotten there at 4 am after a long bus ride from Puno. They eventually...

Dear Donna: We regret and apologize for having bad experience after its long journey. On the other issue that is important to present all the hotel sheets and blankets are washed daily by the same thought having traveled by bus from Puno have stuck to their clothing bugs buses as these seats are not washed daily.

The Taypikala Hotel in Cusco had lovely staff but the hotel needs a bit of an facelift….. it felt very jaded and has a lot of one or two night traffic. I stayed 3 nights in total with a room-mate, the room was very small for 2 people and the ensuite bathroom was minuscule with a leaking toilet so that...

Easy walk to the city and attractions, helpful staff, clean and comfortable. Average breakfast. Beautiful garden, with outdoor furniture, and funky decoration. Great experience, certainly fitted well with the amazing Cuzco visit.
