I chose Nativa because even by email before the trip Monica was so extremely helpful and going out of her way to help me with what I needed in Iquitos. Unfortunately she was not there when we stayed, but her sister took care of us very well. She was so nice and helped us with all kinds of arrangements we...

Coming from my trek to Machu Pichu, I badly needed a place to rest and relax. Peaceful and calm. And Nativa is just the right place to settle in. For an english speaker, Monica the owner will offer the best advice to go explore the amazonas, try different food joints, walk through the various streets, and also give you company...

We were very pleased with the accomodations and the helpful owner and staff. They helped us out by letting us leave our luggage while we took a river cruise and made sure that we had cabs to take and pick us up from the airport. They also helped us with finding food and drinks. Thanks!

What a beautiful hotel. Monica, Carlos and Juana were a piece of repose in the jungle. Their apartments are warm, welcoming and clean. There was always someone to meet us at the door with a friendly smile. The apartments themselves are not fancy, but they are clean and have everything that you need. There's always someone available to give you...

Convenient location near city center, clean and large rooms with some cooking capabilities. Monica, the owner, was very nice and helpful and spoke English which was very useful since we don't speak much Spanish. Only drawback and reason for 4 stars is the bed in our room was only a double, tough for us since we're used to a larger...

This place was very clean, close to everything, and safe! It is protected by a large, secure door as well as a security guard at night. The owner went above and beyond for us and was genuinely offering us tips and advice about restaurant ideas and activities. They gave us change when we needed it, did our laundry, and arranged...

The very friendly and helpful staff and owner made feel like we were home. The accomadations are comfortable, clean, and large. The staff is ready to help with any activities desired. The location is a short walk from the center of town and riverfront. Cost is reasonable. Breakfast is not provided, but good coffee is. We were invited to the...

Nativa is my home away from home when I’m in Iquitos. I’m finishing up my 4th trip to Iquitos and I will only stay at Nativa. Nativa provides high level rooms that are always exquisitely clean as the staff takes great care to ensure the room is cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. The space is large, has a TV...

My recommended place in Iquitos. For what you get, it's well priced. Pleasant and homely. My room was very large, had a comfortable sitting area with comfy armchairs and a coffee table, kitchenette, good shower, a window. A lovely little studio flat. Good laundry service too. The hostess is lovely, quite argumentative but, still lovely and very helpful. I regret...

This has got to be the best place to stay in Iquitos. The room is clean and well equipped. The folks are friendly and helpful, but not always able to speak English. The site can be noisy, but it is very close to downtown, and traffic is fairly heavy.
