I spent 3 night in this hostel. The lounge was very cool to read, rest and lay down. The receptionist were very nice and helpful. Quiet and nice place. The hostel is well place near miraflores and the metropolitain.

This hostel is by far the best I've stayed in while in Peru. I was sick after machu picchu and needed a quiet place to get back to my health. This hostel was perfect for that. It was quiet, clean, good facilities(always hot showers!) and breakfast. And perfect location!! Beds were comfy and because of low season I was lucky... More

The location is amazing! A very hotspot in the center of Miraflores. Evelyn at the front desk was very personal and very friendly. She really helped make the stay memorable. Each room is themed on recyclables. We stayed in the Vidrio room with a bottle chandelier and bottles sticking through the walls. The upstairs terrace was the perfect place for... More

I had a great time at this hostel! The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, with lockable bed side tables and lots of plug sockets. The common room and breakfast area were very nice and comfy, and the breakfast good. The staff was super-friendly- one of the receptionists even gave me her metro card so I could take the train... Not a particularly lively hostel (at least it wasn’t during my stay), but the rooms & communal areas are clean, the staff are friendly enough & it’s in a great location in Miraflores – nice & central while being away from busy road noise. Fresh fruit, bread, jam, coffee etc. was provided for breakfast each morning & I was even... More

The bathroom felt abit grimey, and there seemed to be one toilet for about 15 people. The rooms felt cramped. Downstairs living space is nice. They only have small lockers not big ones so that may put you off if you want to lock away your entire backpack. decent location, felt safe. Apparently there is a very small and basic... More

Decent location in Mira Flores, but hostel lacked any kind of atmosphere. The staff were pleasant on arrival, but pretty uninterested in settling you into the area or giving much information. Room was clean, sink was broken so that if you turned the tap too much it wouldn't stop. Kitchen lady was super friendly. We went back to Lima later... More

Situated in the Miraflores district of Lima the hostel is close to the main tourist areas with the exception of central district. At the time of the visit the hostel was cozy and relatively quite and would suit those who are not comfortable with busier hostels. The facilities available are decent and WiFi reception in the rooms is good.

Great service, close to the ocean and major sight seeing locations. My friend and I were 2 21 yr old, blonde California girls and we felt really safe in and around the hostel! Great experience seeing Lima! We took a free walking tour that was near the hostel, brilliant way to see downtown Lima and learn how to use the... More

One of the main reasons i went to Peru was to experience an Ayahuasca Retreat. So i was looking for a chilled out and friendly place to stay but not a party place. I found the perfect place! I visited the Red Psycho Llama Eco Hostel in late March, early April of this year. The location is extremely central in... More

“The room i stayed in had a great message on the wall about how much you can save through the recycling of bottles. Tip: Even though the title of the place is called The Red Psycho Llama, the colour of the hostel is actually blue. Well, when i was there anyway.”

“Most rooms are shared dormitories. I think there were a few single rooms to be had as well. I paid 14.00 USD a night for a shared room between 6 people. Comfy accommodations and lockers for your things. They also allow you to store your larger bags for however long you would like. ”
