To begin with the pros : - the personals are really nice. To end with the cons : - there is too much noise in the hostel, it is located close to a huge avenue in Lima + there is a lot of noise inside the hostel from 6am to 1 am - it is hot in the room -... More

In house bar. Loud and noisy until late which disturbed our sleep, we rented a double room. Breakfast in local cafe, 3 options, eggs, fruit, juice, yoghurt, and extras. Staff helpful, some spoke good english.

Flying dogg Lima is situated in MiraFlores. A really fine place in Lima. The hostel is oke but not really special. It's quiet and clean. Not much to do there. If you wan't to party don't go there. I started my trip there and had a good night sleep. One of two days Lima is enough.

There was a construction site directly out the window. Construction went on until 2am. There were no curtains in the room to keep out the flood lights from the construction site. It was incredibly loud. There was also all of the noise from the front desk and bar very audible in the room. My pick up from the airport was... More

To start with the good things: the staff is really nice and helpflu, it is well located and our room was quite large, although without a window. But that's about it. The hostel is extremely loud, almost throughout the whole night there was music playing or people chatting. There was a constant smell of petrol in our room, we had... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Flying Dog B&B in Miraflores. The room was clean and had a window overlooking Kennedy Park (it's under construction now but we could still see the park past the barricades) The ladies that work the front desk were all super helpful and answered all of our many questions (do we tip? How much... More

The private room was large, the breakfast was good, and the shower was hot. They had towels and bars of soap waiting for us which was great! We didn't stay long enough to use any of the other amenities but they looked adequate. The Internet connection was a joke. Didn't work in the rooms and barely worked in the common... More

The Flying Dog Hostel has several properties in Miraflores, Lima, and my wife and I stayed in the one on Calle Diez Canseco 117, above a restaurant not far from the "Paix" cafe. The staff members were always very helpful about directions and walking tours, and other points, particularly Gino de la Casa who even mailed us some battery rechargers... More

Located in a pretty safe and "busy" part of town, close to restaurants, clubs and even the beach and "larcomar". It was not expensive at all, and we did not have any trouble during our stay...only some loud guests, but it happens anywhere. They do have a bar, where you can chill, smoke a cig and have your peruvian beer.... More

We booked directly through the hostel as couldn't find any private rooms online. We ended up booking a twin private room as we prefer private rooms as a couple. Upon arrival there was a mix up with our booking and they had two beds in a dorm. The receptionist was so amazing and helpful given the circumstances. She had no... More
